How do I mix the green paint?

There is 2 things im fucking dissapoint in every fallout after second:
1. No vault-cities. Like really? There was quite a bunch of "normal" vaults.
2. No normal cities and buildings, maximum - casinos in NV. Everything is loose boards\rusted metal sheets. In 200years no one mastered the art or masony and there is no builders? I guess its easier to make houses from same junk-type textures than try to make good looking ones.

FYI the ballistic armored shit is from an early railroad radiant quest. After you get a DIA drop from the robot bitch, talk to the crazy nigger and then you can upgrade your own shit.
It works randomly on a few clothes and hats with no real rhyme or reason behind which can be upgraded.
Also this shit can be worn under regular armor. It's stupidly broken.
This is a bug right? Weapon swapping for instant reloads is horribly overpowered. It basically makes magazine mods worthless.

there is fluff stuff u can get that will help obviously but blitz/ninja/rooted/sneak/melee are the core.
once you have all the modifiers stacked up you do so much dmg even on survival that you don't need anything else.

It only really works on that shotgun. Ive tried it on other weapons and it gives me a 'cooldown' as if my guy was reloading the weapon without it actually being shown reloading. Even if I switch to a gun that I havent used before.

The number of synths that go "rogue" is so minimal compared to the amount the Institute produces. Half the ones that the Institute sends you out to collect have been fucked with by the Rail Road, not to mention you just need to say the reset phrase to fix any errors.

How good is Rooted?
I'm doing a power armor dude, for what it counts, so I'm running around with pain train and moving target (So I can sprint more).
I'm going to get Blitz, but I don't know if Rooted will keep its buff when I'm using Blitz either.
Is there any way to change your characters name? I know you can do it by forcing the name/special screen, but if you're over the base amount of special points you can't confirm.

I have a glitch with Curie. No matter what I do, she will not stay at one of my settlements and always returns to vault 81. I'll manually take her to my settlement, dismiss her there and she immediately takes off in the direction of vault 81. Anyone else have this problem, and might they have a fix?

not really, the brotherhood in fo1, fo2 and new vegas was highly isolationist. they keep saying they want to preserve tech to preserve humanity, but all they're really doing is keeping themselves armed to the teeth while jacking off in their bunker. they don't accept any new recruits and don't help anyone, except in fallout 3 and 4, which is different branch of the brotherhood
basically, the west brotherhood had no end goal whatsoever. just hoard weapons and wait.

For the people on the guard towers I give them the green military clothes, leather chest (sometimes metal or combat) and the assault gas mask
For the people working on the stalls I give the males a clean suit and the women a laundered dress.
The people working on the veggies get either farmhand clothes or the minuteman outfit.
Unassigned people just get regular clothes like the checked shirt and jeans while the trade route guys get the drifter outfit.
It's much easier to do when you build a clothes stall because they normally sell those every day or so, I normally just buy all those clothes when they're available and then keep them in a chest for when I get a new settler.

I'm a laser scientist. Assuming energy weapons use any of the actual optical pump methods that real lasers use (semiconductor, gas, etc.) then the only recoil you would expect is if the laser is of high enough energy that it produces breakdown of the gas (air) directly in front of your energy weapon.
This seems unlikely, so the recoil is likely just an oversight that comes from people expecting "guns" to have recoil regardless of design.
For more info on ionizing air, check out laser propulsion. You can straight up launch satellites with some well-placed lasers.

Radiation is damage that isn't healed by stimpacks, which human enemies do use, and I think it keeps legendaries from fully regenning when they mutate as well. Doesn't work on ghouls and I'm pretty sure other radioactive creatures though. The radiation damage boost is 50 points, which is a fucking lot on shit with a high fire rate, but still useful even on things like snipers.

The Halo games have a map building mode called forge and it worked great, a lot of things could snap together and you could clip a lot things through static objects too without any issues. The BoS might be pretty useless by crashing their vertibirds everywhere but their purpose is to collect tech and kill synths. They seem pretty good at doing both of those things.

heavy guns only gets good once you get a gatling laser. until then your options are use other weapon types for pitiful damage or use the junk jet.
once you get the gatling laser it gets pretty fun, scrounger is a must unless you enjoy spending all your caps for one mag of 5mm

Because the power armor in Fallout 4 is the most lore friendly rendition of it since the classic games? It makes you taller like the classic games, it has actual mechanical aspects of it that make the supposed training a necessary thing in order to be able to operate it without tearing your limbs off. It requires maintenance and constant resupply due to fuel cells eroding over two centuries.

I might side with the minutemen just because I don't want to go killing the railroad and every other faction does. Nor do I want to kill the BoS.
My first playthrough I sided with my Son and fucked up the railroad and BoS big time. Now I get randomly attacked by Vertibirds and Knights, which means a lot of bottle caps from selling their armour pieces.
But... I'm very, very OP, nothing in the game is a challenge and I've done just about everything. So I'm rolling a new build - who should I side with on this new build; BoS or Railroad?
