Coming TOMORROW (apparently): Weapon parts to be sold by Gunsmith, Wormspore to be sold to Eris, Etheric Light to be sold to Petra and Legendary Swords to be sold by Shaxx after completing the exotic sword quest. Quiver will be restored next week and Iron banner will come back, this time as a Clash game mode with a few minor changes to the iron banner rep and reward system.

I'm 316 with every single quest done, it is boring but it's only a minority who are that far progressed into the game, there is a lot of people who are adults with children and jobs who only hop on a couple hours a day, who are sitting at maybe 270 light? For them it's okay, they have a lot of PvE content still to finish, there is still a lot of people who haven't even done normal raid yet, but for the 1-5% who have basically finished everything, destiny isn't a good place to spend your time

The issue is that TTK made the majority of the old content obsolete so you've got about 1/3 of the game that there's absolutely no reason to touch outside of nostalgia. I'm a Y2 player and I'm already as good as I can get without doing HM Kings Fall, and even then being able to just do the raid once per week because with RNG on top of it doesn't make for fun, gripping gameplay.
I loved the dungeon tokens system in Guild Wars 2 because I knew after a few runs of a dungeon I could look forward to buying something I needed/wanted. There was still diminishing rewards but it didn't punish me for what I wanted to buy in the end, just how quickly I could get it.
Where Destiny does it wrong is they take RNG and then layer it with more RNG, leaving the player just crossing their fingers for that one weapon/armour with the right perks, the right stats and a high enough light level.
I want to play Destiny more but the game doesn't let me, everything is time gated and padded out for the maximum amount of daily player retention but in my opinion it doesn't respect the players enjoyable time with the game.
I really hate that so many AAA games have adopted what we only use to see in mobile gaming.

Hung Jury is an extremely strong all-around scout rifle and the vendor sells (arguably) the perfect roll for it.
vision of confluence tier stats, but with even more stability. 16 round base mag (really good for year 2 after the field scout nerf). Pretty high reload speed as well
There are plenty of similar scout rifles that can be just as good with the right rolls (most scout rifles fall within the same damage/ROF class as hung jury), and hung jury is arguably not that great for pvp due to having a lower aim assist value, but you can buy a hung jury day 1 and have top tier pve primary for any activity. Firefly is a great utility pve perk in general, and triple tap is good for both boss DPS and clearing easily-crittable mobs. You have the option to make it even more stable or raise the mag to 20 (landing all crit shots with extended mag and triple tap essentially gives you 26 shots in the mag for purposes of DPSing a boss and such).
Hung Jury is among the top of its class, but it does not dominate above all other scout rifles. It's popularity mostly comes from the fact that it's the arguably the best pve weapon you can buy in the tower. As an extra bonus, it also looks pretty nice compared to a lot of the other faction-banded weapons

Using Y1 weapons means you do about 60% of the damage. It's the same in Trials if you try to use something like Thorn; it does ~50 damage for a headshot. MIDA would probably take about 7 headshots for a kill against low armour and 8 against high.

Bladedancer and GG really aren't. They are not as effective as regular guns, and no, I'm not kidding. The reason for this is that they make you a target and ensure that everyone will call out on you, and they're such lackluster supers that they're not going to save you.

Hunters objectively have the worst stat profile of any class. Titans and Warlocks can both achieve high amounts in recovery and armor at the same time, whereas hunters have to pick one of armor and recovery and still underperform in that one stat compared to the other class's two.
Agility is quite objectively the least useful stat in the game and hunters are forced to have a fuck ton of it. I'm not sure what you're arguing, you're probably a butthurt warlock who gets killed by hunters because they're better players despite being underpowered.
