HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO/BASIC ADMIN APTITUDE TEST:
There's one player who, for a long time, wanted to clear the server of validhunters. One day he plays as the HoP and gets to be a changeling.
Now, this changeling walks around the station and noticed a logged off non-antag scientist outside of the science department. This changeling is moved to the dorms and the changeling copies his DNA without killing him, which will later be used to fully copy his appearance as the HoP's access allows him to get a copy of his ID and clothing.
The changeling gears up with many weapons, and since there are no active security personnel at the moment, he can start murderboning the crew with lesser resistance. He does so, starting to fire upon people in busy places with many witnesses.
He attempts to be a loud, obvious antagonist and states multiple times that he is a changeling over the public comms, making fun of the crew at every opportunity. Absorbed corpses with no burn damage during the conflict will serve as proof that the HoP who took the scientist's identity is indeed a changeling.
Now, at this point the changeling has killed about half a dozen crewmembers and there are a pair of validhunting assistants that will try to save the station from this murderboner.
Conventiently enough for our changeling, the scientist who was in the dorms relogs and runs back to his department, only to meet these two validhunting assistants who are geared up with looted weaponry.
These validhunters, knowing that the scientist's identity has killed a lot of people and is a confirmed dangerous changeling, attack the clueless scientist (who had an identical appearance) on the spot. He's shot, beaten into crit and handcuffed with no real time for him to react.

They're both definitely not at fault. The guy who wasn't surprised by the wizman /not/ gibbing him with a fireball is the one at fault. The clown LARPing as a wizard is just the clown being the clown. I could understand being confused by someone pretending to be a tator, but wizard isn't exactly a subtle antag. I think a lot of /vg/ station is surprisingly pretty full of RP, and they enjoy fucking around doing their job and doing chaotic space socialization.
Even more people I think love to watch everything going wrong, and enjoy trying to frantically survive, hence why no-antag antags are pretty fucking annoying.
With all of this I think the assholes who helps antags are easier to spot.

I once spectated Angelite in atmos setting up a highly pressurized system, and a borg came in and said, "This is dangerous, isn't it? What would happen if someone messed with atmos controls in the departments?" Or something like that. His response was basically, "Bad things", and then the borg fucked off. The fuckface was a placeholder. And I have zero notes attached to my ckey. As for them talking to the admins, it was well into the round, so I imagine it's one of 3 things: The admins fucked off; the admins spoke to them and decided it was fine; the admins didn't notice. I think the former is the most likely, but still, if a xenobiologist is actually using the secure enclosure, it's pretty obvious they don't intend to release their aggressive aliens into the station. There's better ways to troll using slime stuff besides. It definite didn't warrant admin input, so preferably my round would've went the same as their round.

Wizard is a bit different. Similar, but just different enough. The short version is show good judgement. The long version is don't know people if you're not sure they're killing others or causing havoc, and if you do kill people by mistake thinking they were the ones causing havoc then you better be taking their ass to medbay and staying with them until you undo your mistake.
Just have a sharp eye and be on the lookout for those fake beards fake-wizard hats come with. If you see someone who may be a wizard but you aren't completely sure then examine and back away so you can look at what they're wearing.

I would have rather been deadminned. Can you imagine how deflating it is for me to respond to ahelps on how to singuloose while playing engineer? Then I have to pointedly ignore engineering unless I had a reason to return there. It's terrible.
There were no other admins online, 10 active players, and a chief engineer who was going to get slammed by meaty whores. I had to answer the phones but we also needed players.
It's not an enjoyable experience and speaking for myself, I end up doing two jobs badly rather than focusing on adminning or playing.

Its not fun for me to play with hands tied behind my back, compartmentalizing information, and going braindead to help players with issues regardless of whether itsba good time for me or not.
Its far better to just deadmin and let the other admins handle it. However in this case, I joined because there were no admins online and there were pending, unanswered ahelps. If another admin had joined I would have gladly deadminned.
The tldr is life is imperfect and if any of us do anything inappropriate we are deadminned same day, minute nuke finds out.

It's not just ahelps, there's a number of logs that appear that could influence over gameplay.
Knowing where an explosion was, who shoted who, or emitters being deleted in big letters that are hard to not notice.
Admins are human.
