The vertical nature of a lot of the world design means enemies are very often on rooftops, on scaffolding, or other places where it's impossible or at least not obvious how to get to them.
When I fight big enemies like the Mirelurk Queen (when retaking The Castle) I have to resort to using (non-perked) guns anyway because it just one-shots me through my decent armor, on NORMAL fucking difficulty.

Playing a sneaky stealthy character in this game fucking blows.
For starters power armor is fucking everywhere and fusion cores are too. So you basically have to pass up the huge advantage they offer unless you want to look retarded sneaking around in a Gundam.
Then there's the fact that you can shoot a dog in undetected sneak mode from across the fucking map with a silenced rifle and the 5 other dogs in the area will just run directly at you.
Also sneaking around areas with ghouls is impossible. Most of them just come out of fucking nowhere and seem to be scripted to come out of a vent behind you after you've cleared the building and youre looting shit.
Why even have Sneak in this game? Just one of the 400 power armor suits laying around and proceed to not give a fuck about taking damage.

I don't really care too much for the modding elements in this game. I haven't applied a single mod to power armor and I rarely use it.

Getting trolled pretty hard by the auto stealth when sitting still and crouching function on a piece of armor I found. Makes it impossible to aim through the sights on my non-scoped guns and doesn't even seem to work like a stealth-boy despite turning me invisible. How in the world did bethesda think this was a good idea?

I had a chameleon raider's right arm for the longest time. Ugly as sin, but good for my stealth character.
Considered it essential for a while, before finally getting rid of it due to how fucking ugly it was. Honestly, the game got ten times more fun since I dropped that piece of shit. you have to remember though things like light-levels and that enemies will move towards sound so an silenced rifle will draw them towards the spot where you fired.
