Alright, I'm 30 hours in, just killed the Courser, and I think I've about done it.
This is getting really fucking boring. Every single mission is going to decrepit building/lightly forested area, killing ghouls/raiders/green raiders/robot raiders, and possibly grabbing something/someone. The 10mm I got at the beginning has yet to become ineffective because of the mod system, and every other weapon is almost guaranteed to be a piece of shit because the 10mm has far greater ammo supply and much more flexibility than anything else. I'm unstoppable since I have an absurd amount of chems, food, and stimpaks, not to mention an asseload of Cores so that if something is actually dangerous I can bring Power Armor in and kill everything with my bare hands. The only vaguely interesting areas are completely barren of meaningful content (Glowing Sea, looking at you). Heavy Weapons are completely useless and the fucked hitboxes mean that grenades or molotovs are more likely to bounce back at you than to go where you want them to. Armor is pretty fucking worthless to the point that I can tank hard while exclusively wearing the Silver Shroud outfit and having an Endurance of 7.
There's no replay value, since every mission only has at most two possible outcomes. The base building is pointless since there's no reason to do anything besides mass mutfruit farms and an armada of sleeping bags, and you gain nothing from it that couldn't just be dealt with easier by going to Diamond City.
I can't find ANY reason to keep playing.

It's incredibly disappointing. The only upside is that you have multiple takedown moves from your power attacks, but then again they only work on humanoid enemies and the powerfist forces you to only have one move. Upgrading power armor gauntlets is a plus, but not by much.

Build a generator, connect it to a pylon, connect the pylon to a conduit that you place on the house you want light. If the light still isn't working, you place another conduit closer to it and connect it to the first conduit.

It's pretty far from "all" supermutants, just the specific strain Virgil had. Plus, I don't think the Institute were even trying to find a cure to Super Mutants in the first place. If Swan is any indication (pre-war), it's that a perfect Super Mutant strain can greatly increase intelligence AND strength, basically making a far better human being.

It's just how the difficulty scaling in every Beth game works.
My favorite part about Skyrim was the fact that if an attack would dealth enough damage to kill you from your current HP BEFORE YOUR DAMAGE RESISTANCE IS ACCOUNTED FOR, it would trigger a kill move and you would die instantly.
Low HP high armor builds just don't work in a game like Skyrim because an enemy only needs to deal enough damage to surpass your current HP before they just straight up ignore all your armor.
