I think that if they aren't Sand blasters, it's to establish a completely new FF group (Remember, the Avalon group hasn't been truly seen [we only saw one member] and it's basically the Mercian division). Again, I'm waiting to see where they take it. However, I think they will be like the Sandblasters in that they're going about it the wrong way, but not on purpose. They're inexperienced, so they likely go a bit too far without realizing. Again, that's just my guess

A lot of characters in the past DID suffer from this problem. Sonic is blue, Knuckles is red, etc.. but Sally/Antoine/Bunnie and nobodies like Geoffrey and Dylan were all "normal" dull animal colors.
