I played through DeS only a few times, but all of those were after the 300 hours in Dark Souls so i kinda fucked up the intended experience by knowing how most things work. For example, i didn't get why red eye knights were so notorious, because i just kept parry backstabbing them and never really getting hit.
Anyways, i don't remember ever being this creeped out by any area in des. Boletaria is just the burg but much longer, which i love, stonefang is annoying as fuck, latria is terrifying but i found it more weird then scary after dying a few times, storm place is cool, and VoD is just meh

The orb first checks the area that you're in so it's best to go to a high activity area while the game is most populated and use orbs there (Dragon Shrine and Eleum Loyce were pretty good spots, in my experience). Just keep spamming the orb and you'll link up to a sinner eventually.

I've been using DSFix for quite a while, but I recently discovered that it's not affecting Dark Souls 1 like it used to anymore. Meaning I cannot skip intro logos, the "DSFix Enabled" text no longer appears at the title screen, and my textures aren't being rendered. The game doesn't crash though. Here's what I've done to try and fix this:
>Made sure I opted in the beta [-dsptde-2.0]
>Made sure AA and Motion Blur were off
>Updated the older versions of everything related to DSFix (DINPUT8.dll, DSFix.ini, dsfix folder, etc.) to version 2.4
>Made sure the internal rendering resolution is the same as my screen resolution
>Made sure enableTextureOverride is set to 1
>Made sure skipIntro is set to 1
>Made sure all of the necessary files were located in the DATA folder where DARKSOULS.exe was located
>Tested game with default settings in DSfix.ini
>Made sure I enabled all that I wanted again in DSfix.ini
>Made sure the textures I wanted were in the tex_override folder
>Disabled DEP for Dark Souls
>Made exceptions for DINPUT8.dll in case antivirus was blocking it
>Restarted computer multiple times
I do not have MSI Afterburner, so it's not that either. Tested the game after nearly all of these bullet points, and DSfix is just not being recognized anymore.

I decided to replay Dark Souls yesterday and saw something weird
I was in Blighttown, somewhere near the bonfire with the fire dogs and I heard this loud bang and saw four or five projectiles hit a wall near me. It sounded like what the toxic darts and knives do when they hit a wall and looked like the darts/knives. But they were preceeded with that loud-ass bang and a bunch of them hit the wall.

Dark Magic is pretty OP
Curse + dusk ring + RTSR (with health in range) + sanctus + power within + buffed weapon can pretty much one shot bosses and players
Basically anything with Power Within and RTSR can be super fucking powerful (including dark magic)
Just stay away from dark magic and power within, and you will be good. RTSR isn't OP on it's own, but it's pretty fun to use for an extra bit of damage (but your health needs to be within 1-20% or 1-10% rangecan't rememberp)

Are you kidding me? If you rush the catalyst in blighttown (which is really easy to get since you just run past 3 barbarians and a blowdart guy) even the lowest level sorcery will one shot most shit from burg to lower burg, and by then you will most likely have great heavy soul arrow which will one shot everything in depths blighttown and dark root. Then once you get soul spear and dark magic you are basically one shotting everything in the game.
And with Bellowing Dragoncrest + Dusks crown + TCC + RTSR/Power within you are basically going to one shot every boss with a dark bead or pursuers.

hey this is probably a bad question but can a gravelord servant who is currently in NG infect players in NG+ if they're in the level range? The gravelord guides are pretty unclear about this, just that NG players cannot get infected with red phantoms.
I read the Black knight Halberd In Ds2 needs around 60 in Int/faith total to get the full potential of the weapon.
If I was 50 faith/ 10 int would I lose value?

What's the lore significance of this cart wheel?
Is it from a chariot or a supply cart? Are those barrels perhaps connected to it? What's in those barrels? Why is the cart wheel not on the cart but instead in a store room with those barrels? The room is guarded by a hollow soldier who doesn't have an armor and is armed with a regular sword. Was he perhaps the person who rode the cart? What was his mission?

then you're basically set, I guess. Most INT spells are created assuming that you want to be a pure caster. Load up with nukes and buffs and go on your way. You may want to consider using Dark Sorcery when you go through the DLC
