Question about MGSV gameplay.
I've been wanting to use my soldiers in MGSV when doing missions and stuff, does an S-Rank (or higher) Soldier in the Combat Unit area play better than Snake, since he's A++? I know that stats effect stuff in FOB whatever, but do stats effect anything in single player stuff as well?
And can you effectively raise the stats of a soldier by using them on missions and side ops?

When I first heard "Quiet's Theme", it really was a good auditory representation on the sad state of Miller and Boss. Both are hunted down by the whole world, the phantoms of revenge slowly consume them as the horrors of war degrade them even further. There's a reason why Miller's "Why are we still here?" speech was being played on footage of a POW being tortured.

That's not because a belief in FOB defense being an RPG. It's because sniper FOBs are perceived as annoying in general. The extra detection range of snipers when a soft alert called in will be enough to detect most shitters. They can see you crawling from 30m away if you draw their gaze. I'm sure you have experienced the bullshit of a sniper spotting you through a wall, too.
They aren't infallible, though, as you also would know. Just more likely to spot you. I'm not defending snipers. They're useless on Support, Intel and R&D, since those buildings provide cover from the snipers that are stationed on the pylons outside.

You can get invaded whenever, if you invade others the blockade that occurs when you take significant damage from an invasion turns off.
There is no way not to get invaded unless you get a high level FOB and disable every security device but UAVs and Cameras.
No low level players will dare fuck with you since you're like level 40 security and no high level players will raid you since you're only level 40 security.
I was curious about whether or not tapping while doing a choke hold would effect the amount of time the enemy stayed stunned so I decided to do some testing with various stun methods and came up with these results. I was kind of surprised to see there is no advantage to performing the longer choke hold or rather no disadvantage to performing the shorter one. It makes me wonder why such a mechanic was even put into place. A logical balance would have been to have the longer choke hold last more time as payoff for it leaving you vulnerable for longer. Either way it was neat to see there is a consistency in the system besides that one point.
