Is it just me, or is the scorch shield useless in PvP? Been trying out a Monte Carlo build and there's like 3 second lag between connecting with the melee and the shield going up. I'd be surviving a lot of 1-on-1s instead of trading if it were instantaneous.

Earlier today was my first shot at running KF this week and I don't know if I'll be able to before reset, and you know how the HM run earlier today went. I probably should hold off HM until I'm above 310. After that 314 Harrowed Qullum's Terminus I'm 308, so hopefully a few more NM runs, Nightfalls, and exotic engrams should drop 310+ gear that will be nice for infusion fodder.

What's your light level? Are you remembering to equip the highest light level equipment you have before you decrypt? Try running multiple strikes in a row to get the streak going, and if all else fails, you can still fallback on rep packages.

Dont stress too much. If you need things over 300 you have to run the NM KF raid. Other than that, run strikes and decrypt all the engrams you get. Ive had one blue engram drop a 300 blue cloak for me, Ive had a couple 299/298 drops as well on armor and weapons. The only reason your friends have more than you is theyre probably more addicted so dont feel bad you just need to spend more time on strikes.

Pulse rifle TTK is pretty much in line with all other weapon archtypes. Personally I'd address the range or stability to make shooting at range harder. I think part of the strength in pulse rifles is the fact that dropping shots to the body instead of the head can have no effect on TTK compared to an auto rifle, which has an increased TTK each headshot you miss, but that isn't something that can be addressed.
I think hand cannon accuracy is also something that needs to be addressed, almost as much as range.
Auto rifle range should be addressed too, it can't really hold up against pulses at the moment.

I would make the recoil of all pulse rifles less predictable, pulse rifles like the hawksaw, grasp of malok, bad juju, all have incredibly easy to deal with recoil. I agree that accuracy on hand cannons is bad, too, and that perhaps auto rifles should be buffed but not to range, maybe make them stagger a bit more and improve accuracy.
What are the numbers on precision damage multipliers for the different weapon archetypes?
I hardly ever see scout rifles at the moment, I think this may be an AA issue as it seems the AA on most scout rifles is incredibly low.
