I don't understand how I can shove 180 active esps down Fallout 3's gullet in one go using the worst mod manager in existence and still have it play nice with me, yet have Skyrim kick me in the nads every step of the way. Made progress last night, installed roughly thirty mods with MO (most of them UI shit), slapped on an ENB preset and called it good after checking to make sure it didn't crash. Picked up where I left off a few hours ago, installed a few combat mods, rebuilt my bashed patch, ran LOOT, booted up SKSE, crash. Uninstalled new mods, rebuilt patch, ran LOOT, SKSE, crash. Uninstalled every mod, deactivated Bashed patch, SKSE, crash. Deleted ENB files, SKSE, crash. Ran Skyrim normally through launcher, good to go. Ran Skyrim through MO, good to go. SKSE through MO, crash. So it's SKSE. I don't know why this is an issue just now after it worked fine last night. Does MO have it's own built-in version of SKSE and I just fucked it up by installing it beforehand or what? I have never been more pissed off in my life, this is the sixth time this year I've tried to mod Skyrim.

OCO2 uses Blockhead for gender specific textures and head meshes. OCO1 uses one mesh and texture for both genders.
You'll need to change your filenames to make OCO1 utilize Blockhead, that would probably be the quickest way.
Keep in mind that using OCO2 textures with the .egt files from OCO1 will mean that you'll get a serious case of double eyebrows and the general nastiness of the Oblivion faces (green lips, etc.), so it won't look the exact same as OCO2 unless you grab those files and put them in the right place.
Alternatively you could just get OCO2 and then change the head meshes. But then that might cause NPC faces to get real distorted unless you manually generated new ones.
It's relatively simple stuff but it's not easy to explain. I've been fucking with my faces for ages and only just found something I'm happy with. I'd share it but it's a mishmash of a bunch of different mods and the file structure is a fucking mess.

If you follow any guide too closely (S.T.E.P. in particular) you're going to end up with some issues. Take things one at a time and just add things in small amounts so you know exactly what you're adding and know that you're not fucking shit up. What's really surprise me if how it still dwemer metal to recycle millenia after all the dwemers disappeared, making it impossible to create new metal, and how nobody could recreate it. Also, it seems really difficult to make for something weaker than orcish, ebony or daedric. Not sure it's worth all that shit, so what's the real use of the dwarven metal? Why not using simple iron, steel, or even ebony when making the automatons?

All which take a very short time to complete if you focus on them. There's only one main quest(find son/kill alduin). Then there's the faction quest(stormcloaks vs imperials/brotherhood vs institution).
FO4 has plenty of sidequests, just like Skyrim. I'm not quite sure about an equivalent to daedric/divine quests, and there's no DLC for FO4 just yet. Really, both games are severely lacking in content. When FO4 gets DLC (if it does), then it will basically be on-par with Skyrim with content.

No there's plenty of factions in Fallout 4. Shows how much you obviously don't know about the franchise, or the game you're trying to argue against.
For example, Skyrim has the Forsworn, and Fallout has the Gunners. You can't play as them, or join their faction, but you can do quests that involve killing them.

"Factions" in bethesda games are joinable groups with own story and questlines, it was always like that.
Of course there is the term "faction" to describe all the different groups, but thats only for the CK to different between them. (Bandits, Draugr and so on)
AS of now, Fallout 4 has only 2 Factions you can join. No guilds. No other things.

In Skyrim I know that physics will flip out if you turn off vsync but it can be fixed by simply capping the frame rate at 60 or lower. So it's not tied to vsync itself but the framerate.
But what about day/night time sync? I know it can desync with vsync off but is it tied to vsync or frame rate like the physics?
I get massive mouse lag with vsync on so I want to turn it off without getting these two side effects.

Camping is a lot more difficult, but also way more interactive and enjoyable.
Being high level no longer trivializes the entire mod, and frost resistance isn't ridiculously OP anymore.

Post ideas for quest mods that you want to make.

>When you arrive, one of the cultists talks to you, recognizes that you are dragonborn and offers to help you
From here, you can choose two different paths
>Join him, disguise as a cultist and sneak in
>Find the researcher and the leader of the cult, who are working together to resurrect a dragon priest
>Kill the researcher and the cult leader and stop the resurrection
>Friendly cultist then assumes a leadership role in the cult and devotes it to you
OR
>Kill him and kill all the cultists on your way in
>Find the researcher and the cult leader dead, killed by the dragon priest they resurrected
>Kill the dragon priest and loot his shit
Either way, you end up with the dragon priest's dagger, called the Fang of Alduin, as well as the researcher's journal which identifies the amulet as a broken Amulet of the World-Eater.
If you killed everyone, you're kinda fucked and will be stuck with the broken amulet, since there's no one alive to tell you how to fix it. As a consolation prize, you will be able to loot the Ring of the Firstborn off the friendly cultist you murdered in cold blood, and if by chance you happen to fight Alduin with the amulet in your inventory, it'll be restored.
If you joined the cultist, he will tell you about the amulet and tell you how to restore it, which entails either killing Alduin if you haven't yet, or returning to Sovngarde and visiting the spot where he died if you have killed him. If you want, you are then free to murder your new friend and take his ring like the psychopathic murder-hobo you are.

That's a weird crash, ENB shouldn't cause problems like that. Were you using some old version of the binaries?
I don't really have a suggestion for low-end ENBs, but if you're just going to use it for screenshots it really doesn't matter. You do all the posing and framing without it, turn it on, snap and turn it back off.
It depends on the quality of your toaster though, maybe there are presets that would be playable on it.
Do you think that Bethesda will make TES 6 on the same engine as FO4 and excuse themselves with "We didn't focus on the graphics again"?

There are lots of different character types in Skyrim.
For instance, you can be a stealth archer assassin and take out unsuspecting enemies from afar.
Or you can be a cool sneakbow adventurer, sneaking up on your enemies and shooting them with your bow.
You can even be a wandering marksman thief, and creep up on your victims before eliminating them with your marksman skills.
