Can't over kill those as Barb, too much HP. Seism hits for about 11k consistently as a critical. Those things I believe have too much HP unless you can somehow lower it to near death and get lucky with a crit but hey, what do I know.

Why would you hate free a extra EXP mechanic? Why don't you party up with a Barbarian if you want the small bonus that badly? It's not much at all in the end. It's not like Barbarians over kill every mob in the game, only some few soft weak ones with a 21 second cooldown ability.
Archers can over kill fying mobs.
Wizards can over kill entire screens with a Meteor. Sorcerers can have their pets over kill weak mobs. Only classes I can't see over killing constantly are like monks, saddhus or krivis who rely on constant ticking damage but you chose your path so you have only yourself to blame. Every swordsman class can over kill because of WEAKNESSES monsters have to their weapons, that's it. Singling out Barbarians just shows how dumb this general can be.
Also another funfact is /tosg/ blatantly ignores how overpowered Corsairs are because they all rolled Kiritos.
But yeah fuck those overpowered Barbarians with their one ability that can over kill. We need to nerf them to the ground so they become useless so I can gloat at them.

I do party with barbs. It's anything but a small bonus when it comes to hours of mob grinding. We have done days of testing with the exp program. When you don't overkill the packs of mobs, you lose so much efficiency it's insane. 21 second cooldown is nothing and can be used twice. Meteor is a 90 second cooldown. I have to go all the way to Thaumaturge to get a skill that gives a 50% exp buff to mobs at the cost of giving them 50% more HP. That buff is actually worse than just 255% overkilling the same mobs. And the fact that I double their HP makes it near impossible to get any overkill on top of that.
Once again, I didn't say I hated Barbs or want them nerfed. My first character was a barb and I played until the 140's and loved it. My feelings should not represent the opinions of this general. Please don't get upset about it, I'm just sharing my thoughts after spending literal days in Demon Prison and multiple hours at every grind spot on my way there.

Well then it is not you who I am "upset" at. It is the seemingly non ironic shit posting you probably have not witnessed in these generals. It seems to be dying out as the generals lower levels are climbing higher and higher in the levels and are noticing their own unique snowflake builds finally bloom to the killing machines that they are so that initial whining has died out some.
I don't care how much you and your group have mobbed together. Unless you're a Barbarian with literal dozens of millions to throw out into the market and attributes there is no way possible for a barbarian to constantly over kill 255%. There is no way. It's very important to notice that to get 255% over kill in the first place you have to deal an insane amount of damage to a WEAK mob and there are not that many spots in the game that allow you to mob and gain that 255%. Not doable.
The thing is there are Slash weak monsters in almost every map to a varying degree so all these anons have seen BRarians walk by them and Over Kill small weak fuckers on every map, so they just wrongly assume this is the case all the time to every monster.

They're this game's equivalent of RO's cards, very rare drops specific to each monster. They go in a specific piece of equipment unlike regular gems, that give bonuses depending on where you put them. Monster gems increase the level of one particular skill of any class by 1.

If I had a choice I'd rather shitty raids too but I really wish ToS would try to find some middle ground. I like the combat but the mechanics are shit, stats are laughably simplistic and the progression is boring as shit.
There's so much potential to be had with this game, I can only hope IMC makes it better.
So I was just testing Sadhu and I'm kinda let down. The damage is not all great considering that you always need Safety Zone or Fade up to deal damage while other classes deal the same amount of damage with their auto attacks.
I was considering another class setup.
Swordy c1 > Peltasta c1 > Hoplite c2 > Corsair c2
Peltasta for swash buckling and the evasion bonus when I'm not using Finestra. c2 Finestra for that sweet crit rate and the spears are just great weapons overall.
Later on dual wielding spear and dagger.
This setup seems to be the best when combining all classes.
With Corsair dual wielding, I can still use all Hoplite skills and Swash buckling.
What skills are best for Hoplite c2?
Right now I have Stabbing 10, Finestra 10 and consider going 5 points each for Pierce and Spear Lunge

I cheated in that regard, I made a new char and dumped 200 large pots on it to last the period between 30 and 60.
It's legitimately worth just running directly to Fedimian at level 30 as a melee class, simplyp because small/regular hp potions really don't cut it for solo play in the slightest.

Were you boosting your OOB attacks with zalciai/cure/monstrance?
Because that just about doubles the damage of OOB.
Were you using a mace? Because you actually want to use a mace with sadhu because for some stupid reason the boost equation uses patk as well, so maces are actually stronger than rods with boosted OOB.
Where you a c2 sadhu?
Because possession is one of the best skills in the entire game, this is not an exaggeration.
If you're not hitting at least 3k-4k a second once you're in sadhu2, you are doing something wrong.

That is a solid build. The only skills that you can't use when dual wielding is Long Strinde and Synchro Thrusting (which no one uses anyways).
You want to max Finestra and Pierce (it allows you to overkill). Then, depending on what you like more, if you max Spear Lunge it deals some pretty nice damage and it has overheat.
Otherwise just max Stabbing and leave Spear Lunge at 1.
Are corsair damage skills really that good or is the joly ranger thing what makes them good? and if that's the case, would you say that BRbarian, or Doppel damage skills would do more damage inside the joly ranger area than Corsair skills?
Okay so I read the leveling guide but I'm confused about something.
Are you supposed to be going though all the 1-100 zones and just doing all the quests and then grinding afterward? Or do you actually grind zone to zone?

Level 132 cleric1 priest3 krivis1. 170ish spirit. My mana never goes down below 80% (the only time it went that low was on crystal mine mission vs the two bosses) and I never need to mana pot or rest.
And with that much spirit I reduce enemy defense to 0 and I give a decent amount of crit hit and crit dmg to my group. I firmly believe that every cleric subclass except bokor, sadhu and druid should have a decent amount of spr invested because how good the returns are. Clerics get Deprotection zone, which straight up gives 1 dmg per spirit, priests have monstrance which does the same thing but in a bigger aoe and krivis have the mother of all crit buffs once you level the attribute up. Even Paladins and Monks should invest in Spirit since they'll benefit from either monstrance or zalciai, on top of deprotection zone. Best of all is that this applies to your group.
Let's say you go Cleric > Krivis > Priest 2 > Monk 2. Getting 80 spirit by the time you reach 200 gives you and your group 160 dmg a hit against enemies, 80 crit attack and 64 crit rate. If you were to put those points in STR, you'd get 115 dmg and 115 crit attack for yourself only. Sure it's probably a small personal DPS loss to keep recasting those spells to hit way harder some of the time vs getting Str and hitting weaker all the time, but you're playing a support class, act like one.

Dust Devil is very nice cause it's a decently strong move and it's a slash type, when all your others are piercing, has a nice big AoE all around you.
Hexen Dropper is stupidly strong, it's like stabbing except it's way faster to use, using spear lunge before it pretty much destroys anything.

I see a lot of grinding parties in Mage Tower F5. Should I really be grinding there too? I have about 100 level 6 cards saved at 121. Do I use them or continue saving?

You can boost OoB with Cure? Why? That makes no sense to me.
Also I was testing the damage with a mace and with a rod and the rod did more damage.
Also the damage with OoB seems to fluctate really strong. Most of the time I do a solid 300 per hit and then all of the sudden it skyrockets to 1500.
It's still a mystery to me how OoB scales.

What makes Corsair good is Double Weapon Assault, you go Two Circles of Swordsman, Barbarian and Corsair for Restrain, Frenzy and Double Weapon assault respectively. Multi Hits>Everything in Tree of Savior and being able to stunlock, stack your attack to insane levels and do multiple hits all in one class is incredible in and of itself.

Spear lunge is not bad since it's fast and does decent damage, but it's best use by far is for the 50% pierce damage debuff to boost other skills. You probably only need one point in it.
Swash Buckling requires a shield do use, but I suppose you could just swap it on when needed.
I'm level 119 and have finished mage tower and the entire sunset forest line. Where do I go now? I heard I was supposed to save all my Level 6 cards. Do I just grind till 130 and do the dungeon? If so where to grind?

You might want to level Lethargy instead of sleep. It somehow boosts the damage of Earthquake.
Also for me Pyro > Linker > Psy has a better synergy. Pressure actually turns your fireball into a deadly AoE killing machine.
Right now, your skillset won't do any good damage at all and you're to reliant on summoning.

This game is similar to RO where lowbie gears can be better than higher level gears due to effects and the armor doesn't really scale with the monsters so unlike TERA you don't have to keep changing your gears every few weeks. You can literally use that gear for a long time as long as there is non that beats its effect.

Okay, I don't think you understand boosting
Basically the way this works is like this:
If you move your spirit into any active and lasting (so not heal that disappears instantly upon use) buff/debuff circle (so shit like enemy's slow nets will activate it too) with your spirit in OOB, it gets boosted.
When boosted your damage goes way up, just about doubled.
Doing OOB without boosting is kind of a waste, you lose so much.
When boosting OOB the patk of your weapon is also added into the equation, so maces will then outdamage rods, why? because IMC is dumb.
So say for instance I do 300x3 against some dudes
I boost by moving my spirit into cure or zalciai or something and bam, I'm now doing like 600x3 or so
Now the thing is if you were using a rod
you might do 330x3 unboosted, while a mace might do 300x3
but boosted the mace will now do say 650x3 while the rod is now only doing 600.
At level 140~ I do around 2.4k in a single OOB (over 3k against magic weak mobs) attack, around 1200 a possession tick.
These hit really, really fast, so I end up doing a shitload of damage in now time flat.
