Arde Dagger adds an insane amount of damage to all your attacks. It's still not as much as the bonus 2h attribute to flying monsters. Get the Arde dagger and use 1h crossbow + dagger for most enemies, then swap to 2h bow for flying enemies.

Let me see if I get this straight: it adds 153 fire attack, but that's not necessarily 153 damage, in fact it's most likely much higher than that. It's probably just a plus added to your normal attacks too, so you're doing more damage regardless of reaistances. This seems to be as balanced as this beta so far. Archer is already strong as fuck, but his first 4 ranks are mostly crap, and his survivability is probably the lowest in the game no matter what you do.
I don't think they're going to change any of that any time soon, their dev team is focusing on balancing swordsman and adding new classes. You can clearly see this by reading what they're prioritizing in their patch notes.
The only change I'm expecting (without much hope) is an overal revamp to pet AI, or all AI if possible, there's a lot of retarded behaiviors for pets, bosses and enemies that shouldn't be happening so often at this stage of the game.

problem with bokor c3, is all you get is damballa and ogouveve, one is STR based, and the other makes your zombies explode which seems counter productive...
If Hexing/effigy were working I'd say yes without a doubt, because those rape everything pretty hard if your're int, but right now it's not dealing bonus damage and being resisted half the time.
So it's bokor3 or priest1/2 kirivis1/2 depending on what you picked before, getting third circle might be the best idea unless you want the buffs from the classes you're missing.

Once you summon him you can't control him, he doesn't consume any more resources and will continue to exist until he dies or you leave the zone.
With my zero spirit build he hits about as hard as salamion.
If he isn't occupied with something he follows you but when I summoned him just east of klapeida the first time he just kept bouncing from little monster to monster and fucked off into the distance and down the road while I afked near the town entrance.

I don't think archer really needs "buffs", it needs...redesigned/revamped entirely. It's skills all basically do the same thing and has nearly no utility from any class until you get rank4. That means all it's rank 1-3 class skills fall off hard later into the game and aren't even strong early, they also provide no utility and ranger/archer might as well be the same fucking classes...
I just don't get what they were trying to do with the archer tree, only so many ways to shoot arrows. They should've made it branch off into pet, ele arrows, and physical arrows at rank2 or something.
The entire tree is just stupid and at this point we're probably just going to get bandaid fixes like "hey this will do X% more damage now!" to try to fix it when it's fundamentally fucked and flawed.

The latest archer change is a +1 to their physical ability, whatever that means.
Someone said this means that each point of STR gives them double the benefit e.g 2 more physical attack, 2 more critical attack.
Another take on it would be that all their skills went up by 1 level to increase their power.
I'd prefer the latter as it would increase the mobbing ability of Ranger even more. On that note, they need to fucking fix AoE attack ratio and "Targets". I bought the Vubbe Fighter Gauntlets and the +2 AoE attack ratio only helps High Anchoring because Bounce Shot uses "Targets" instead.

None of the pets in necro are strong enough that playing support to them would be viable.
The good thing about necro compared to sorc is that it actually uses very little SP so you would be able to cast plenty of your own skills after summoning your little abominations to assist you.
Skele AI is the worst I've seen so far though, they randomly run off or get stuck and just stop attacking near constantly.

Yes. I was just running around with my skeleton gang in that exact zone and seeing even more AI tripping than usual.
Even got to the point where I tried to get them killed on purpose so I could resummon them and I just ended up incapable of summoning any more skeletons til I rezoned.
Unlike every other summon spell instead of despawning your current one and creating a new one, casting raise dead with 1 or more skeletons already up will only summon extras to replace already defeated ones and leave your current skeles with half hp or whatever still up.
