Blackbeard originally came out 3 days after carues duck squad fortnight which for us would have started november 24th on original schedule.
So yeah, we're getting blackbeard a week before japan did,but without every having zephyr or doffy.

I'm actually glad bb came early, people crying because they need doffy for bb should remember that raid bosses aren't supposed to be farmable on their first appearance, players should struggle and be rewarded with a strong unit at the end, not farm 100 copies of mihawk to keep in their shiny 500 storage. I sincerely hope they keep releasing bosses in line with the story, and that we get enel and then aokiji, before slasher edgelord.

That depends on your captains, your subs, the orbs you get and the specials you use, but I guess anywhere from 2 (double Hancock, perfect orbs with Kaku's special) to 15-20+ turns (double Jozu with shitty orbs and no specials). But I doubt you're going to survive that long if you're planning to stall on BB himself, especially since he hits hard-ish and double HP captains will only be of limited use once you get him below 50%

You don't really need to do test runs, Gamewith usually has a general walkthrough of the raid a few minutes after it's released and a detailed walkthrough soon after that. If you need tips for team building you can just monitor twitter and look for posts mentioning their account (@gamewith_onepi), there are usually a shitload of people tweeting about the teams they've used to clear the fortnight (it's what GW uses when writing raid pages)

It's damage reduction. If Alvida has 10000 health and 2000 defense, and you deal 4000 damage, it will actually only deal 2000, leaving her with 8k.
It's also the other way around. The lower the combo, the better it is going to be against high defense units, as the damage isn't going to be mitigated across as many hits.

If those are your best QCK units, you're better off putting Kaku in the bottom row since you have no orb manipulator and if he gets locked it won't be a huge loss for you
and you'll probably want Killer active for the fight for damage alone

Global shooter teams are indefinite shit right now unless you and a friend have Curiel.
The shooter team I ran had a Ab-sama lead, got some dust off my Sogeking, Perona, Izo, and Psy Franky. Literally had no shooter friend captain so I chose a rayray.
Fighter teams are actually really awesome with the right mix of characters. I wish I had more than one namule and Jimbei friend.
I run Jimbei, Hogback, Marco, MC, filler (GPU, Bellamy, Garp)
Marco and MC are an awesome combo.

That's probably not a good idea, as BB silences your captains at 50% and 20% health, which means you'll lose a huge chunk of health, making the x2 HP completely useless, plus between a unit being locked and the low damage output you'll be hard pressed to burst him

You should be fine, just remember that when BB hits 50% he'll silence you so you'll drop to 32k, that just means however you don't need to worry about HP loss on stalling.
