IMC made DEX far too good. It's agi/dex/luck all rolled into one stat.
INT on the other hand got split up because fuck mages. INT used to give SP and magic attack.
They should just add AGI as a stat for evasiveness and atk speed.

Freeze from Ice Bolt, Freeze from Ice Pike, Freeze from... guess it... Ice Wall. You freeze everything. Freezing increases damage dealt and prevents enemies from raping your/your parties' butthole.

Ok so after stopping for a week. I've got the itch to try again. I wanna try to make rodelero work. I know it's probably meme. Someone says it works but won't give up info.
So question is what to build to support it? -Swordie C3? Just aa my shit up?
-Pelt1 and hoplite1? Guardian for evasion, finestra for criting? Could take syncro thrust since it scales with shields and has strike damage making it usable with rodelero's c3 strike damage taken inscrease.
-pelt1 barb1? Offers crit buff slash, strike stun, the stomp that does damage based on evasion (if its any good and syncs with guardian evasion attribute)
Ideas other than "lol don't roll rodelero"?

Mainly pumping STR, but getting DEX from time to time (6-7:1 ratio, roughly). Unspent points mean that you can put them anywhere, it won't matter. High Anchoring is not as good as people make it out to be, charge time is long, didn't use much at 15/15. Steady Aim is ok when you have attribute leveled. Early game sucked, now ~125, it's definitely easier to play

But, it's like, you force people to grind and you make them do it in 1 zone with 1 channel with everyone else doing the same thing.
And you do this for every character that you make.
Either solve this by making more zones, or making it a full questing MMO.
Are Alchemists worth job changing into during this closed beta? I mean, it seems like an end game class with all the item tuneups but it doesn't seem like you can really utilize that stuff right now?

I did this
problem is zombies are shit, the best bokor farming skill is actually a channeled ability (bwa kamiyan), so there really isn't many times where punching will be used, you mostly just run around dealing damage with a conga line.
And the other way to build bokor is spell based, which is more of a boss killer, it's actually pretty damn strong, but that skill is INT based, so it doesn't synergize with monk at all.
I think the biggest problem with bokor is how their stats are all fucked up, STR boosts damage of some skills, INT boosts spells, and SPR boosts zombie health. It's not very viable to split among all those stats and still be effective.

so yeah alchemist is the same, if you want to try out awakening and die to lvl 200 bosses after 30 minuts of fighting waves, and there's going to be some people that want to remove the bad sit from their gems. Who knows maybe combustion is OP in the right situation? and Magnum Opus is the most intriguing skill on the game right now, if you can discover a recipee no one else is able to find yo could earn billions weekly for months until some tryhard datamines all the recipees.

it doesn't "suck" I mean is just that a proper optimized build would be more effective, the idea of having an army of zombies while you punch shit isn't wrong, but the game needs a bit of tweaking. Also tet mamak is fucking good, if there was a way to make zombies get stuck whenever I want, or tet mamak didn't requires zombies summoned, I think the class would be a lot more viable, stacking skulls is fun and moderately strong.

Obviously he is just exaggerating, some c3 classes are indeed good, but in most chases it's not, by the team you reach c3 there's probably a better class you can take at that tier, and also the SP costs is increased significantly while the damage increase is just a flat bonus. Very few c3 skills are strong enough to justify going balls deep into a class, unless the other options are shit at c1 and don't mix well with your current build (requiring weapons etc).
In the future though, if pvp becomes relevant, having some skills maxed 15/15 10/10 at c3 might be significant, since having really strong skills that can 1 shot an enemy is going to make a lot of difference and burst is usually king in pvp.
The thing is most rank 5 and rank 6 classes have inflated base damage on their skills, so even at 5/5 they're stronger than a lot of 10/10 or 15/15 abilities from lower brackets.

I went plate and full str to start with and found myself getting smacked silly going into royal. Course it was pushing it 8+ levels above me.
I hate umbo blow. It only gets extra dmaage when you block, its an RNG amount i swear and it's a seperate hit. So sometimes the 2nd hit wouldn't register on the boss. If I got mobbed it would spread those 2nd hits out.
Rim blow is worthless without a cryomage. I have no idea who can petrify but I never saw anyone doing it while leveling.
Guardian is only useful at lvl 1 for the 18% evasion if you go leather and dex.
High guard is a trap. It doesn't add enough block and destoys your damage out. Unless the boss/mob is weak to strike damage the extra the 330% extra attribe umbo/rim damage doesn't offset the gutted AA and other skill damage.
Never tried sheild lob. Butterfly was 3 hits. I think it's like strike stirke slash. It's not much more damage than umbo/rim really.
Now umbo thrust? Amazing. Says armor break, seems to be a set % defence drop. I could AA on somethign and go from like 290 to 410 when the armor break hit. Works on bosses too though they seem to resist it like 20-30% of the time.
I got discouraged a week ago. It's mostly weak AA with the right wapon, if i can blocka dn use umbo blow cool. If any normal mob was strike weak i could oblitherate it but strike weak bosses still took a good 5-7min+ to beat thru.
Had i not gotten discoruaged I'd probably try to work towards fencer since umbo thrust would syngerize as would guardian's evasion boost.

just run thaumaturge, you get a cute outfit and there's hardly any time left in the beta anyway. Linker C2 is overrated, 3 extra links isnt worth a whole circle and Spiritual Chain is actually in reality kind of bad because of the 5 buff limit which just messes everyone up.

Rogue has the strongest hitting single target not channeled ability in the game right now via some OP weapons, it's on a 10 second cd, it's melee and has 2 charges.
Scout has stealth, which is probably OP for pvp.
Hunter's pet can hit a lot stronger than any regular pet (still shit obviously but it's unique I guess).
Fletcher rapes enemies wearing cloth, but everyone seems to hate the class for some reason.
Schwarzer Reiter is the only class that can wield guns so far, so if there's any interesting gun it's going to be archer exclusive for now.
Quarrel shooter and sapper could be considered unique, but the current tunning makes them underwhelming when compared to other archetypes in the game.

Go C2 and get an arde dagger to help with damage. The C2 is for knockdown ability that does decent amount of damage. For maximum hipster build you go Sapper c2 and get the spinning broom for all them hazards.
That being said the damage they deal is ass where as I can just C3 archer and just 2 shot everything.

if crit multiply by 1.5 and add crit attack value from character sheet

stone shot uses too much sp and is too laggy, it doesn't work on bosses, and most mobs now at lvl 100 die too quickly for it to be much use

you should be getting to level 12-13 in the newbie zone on new characters, as thats what you get when you grind the black hair style. Level 1 earthquake kills the clumped up groups of them and you should be able to two shot auto attack the stragglers. It shouldnt take that long at all.
at this point you level earthquake to 4 and leave it there and should have no problem. You just rush through the next zone doing the quests, and when you get to miners villiage you use earthquake on the clumped up mobs by the big red kepas to very quickly get to class 15.
Are you jump attacking with your auto attack? Its important for wizards

1 in stone picking isn't viable. it has a 5 sec cooldown at level 1. even if you have 3 in stone shot thats 1 shot in 5 secs, keeping stones in your bag isn't really worth it. it isn't lag its the animation for loading a stone in the crossbow and shooting it.

I'm not sure about skill build as Doppel. Tornado is almost a must and the one that stabs down is insane damage. It also shows a big fucking button on your screen when you walk over anything that can be stabbed.
Deeds of Valor is only good as a Physical damage increase. For you to take advantage of the speed you need to be ping 10. Otherwise the extra speed feels lost. Tried it at level 5 and could hardly feel an increase.
Double Pay is simple good fun. You can make big massive hordes of monsters that you're farming into pure money and exp.
For instance if you activate it and kill tons with Seism they all give you double exp. With Warcry one shotting weak mobs is very easy to do. On top of if you Over Kill you gain EVEN MORE experience so always one point at least in this skill.

You're still carrying around a 50% attack penalty. Those attributes are there just for you to "maintain" your original DPS instead of downright throwing it into the trash once you pop High Guard.

Just don't put points into SPR or INT.
Focus on DEX late game with some STR.
Early game you can focus on STR only.
Up until level 145 you don't need CON.
After level 145 even you need CON.
DEX seems solid all around.
I can't give numbers since your stats can change all the time with items. For example if you get the 2H sword Lapis Katzbalger early on it has so much critical attack you can go full DEX, because you don't need STR to raise crit attack. The game also lacks a lot of good 2H swords. There simply isn't a lot for us to play with. I used Lapis Katzbalger until I was level 170. That's how shitty the itemization is right now.

Wouldn't they combo pretty well? 432 HP every what 5.6 seconds with sitting or 15.6 without? Pretty good for keeping chip damage healed up with your Heal/Mass Heal for anyone who takes a big hit.
Regen without sitting is retarded though and it should just be the default rate.
