Pretty much what >>121886031 has said, but I prefer T2 over T7, and T9S over T9.
T1 was a proper introduction for an 8-man raid. The level design was unique, the gate keeper was more than a DPS check, and there were a few ways to deal with the trash which were actually exciting instead of zerging to the crystals or pretending to be Solid Snake. More final encounter areas should have more varied designs over the simplistic two-dimensional geometric arenas we currently have to fight in.
While T7 had more focus on DPS control, which is more meaningful than simply pushing DPS, T2 has it beat in level design, and picking paths that affected the final fight of the turn. Granted, most groups stuck with one path due to the current meta around that time, but the ideas were sound. Pardon this crass analogy, but if T2 and T7 had a baby together it would be the best second turn combining both decisions that affect the final encounter and DPS control. I just feel that T2 is slightly better.
T12 is one of the better-designed turns in this game. It has a healthy focus on all checks and has you deal with them accordingly. Like the whole of FCoB, tanking had meaning with mitigating damage, enemy placement, and even swaps that made sense. It was one of the more interesting turns to run.
T9S had everything: a DPS that simply made the encounter easier to deal with, mitigation checks that made sense, proper enemy placement, healing checks, raid awareness with debuffs and the elemental dragons, and near-full use of everyone's toolkits. It was a balls-to-the-wall challenging fight that felt fulfilling to beat. Then again, this choice might be due to my bias for T9S based on my experiences in the fight.
