I ended up switching to ESDF for movement and doing qwa345rtyhvb with shift modifiers after i started maining slayer a couple of years ago. Bunch of other random keybinds for other stuff too like pots and items.
Havent used anything else since i've done that, it ended up turning out perfectly with minimum distance traveled for combos and not having my pinky scrunched up in the corner doing nothing.

Yep, i've been having fun but after two weeks i've been running out of stuff to do. So i may have lied about not posting as much since i dont have much else to do.
Alliance is really fun when its fun, easily the best moments i've had in this game were from doing it with friends. Right next to clearing SCHM pre nerf with a full disco party, that was a goddamn nightmare to pull off but the feeling of payoff was great.

i wasnt really playing that much when SCHM pre nerf was a thing. think i had just moved to TR because of a friend of mine started playing there (transfering 8 characters from CH to MT to TR and then back to MT again... i hate myself) so i missed out on most stuff early on. SCHM was one of the best patches to be around for, even if they ruined how profitable selling timeworn weapons was when dreadspire dropped them like candy. I only managed to sell 2 for 450k and 350k each because we had awful RNG and only 2 weapons dropped in 40 runs before dreadspire hit. Then the weapon prices plummeted overnight to 80k and then 40k the next day.
BR was a fun dungeon to run with enjoyable mechanics that would fuck up unwary shitters. RG was something you could grind for cash if you had time to burn, and it wasnt hard to dps and dualbox a priest and split the extra profit with a good dps buddy. Feedstock was going for like 35g each at the worst at the time too.
Then you had SCHM for when you wanted to do something relatively challenging while still being fun. Compared to TSHM which i hate with a burning passion.
And they even buffed its drop table later after the first buff so 15-25 dyads would drop a run and you could sell them to people for 5k each. Not that good things ever last in this game, they immediately nerfed it to 4 dyads a run after a week.
Still mad about that, could've made a lot more money if it lasted a little while longer. 15k-25k guaranteed split for 40 minutes of work was amazing.

i started grinding RG a bit. and even made my +15 gen axe when feedstock was 32g each since i had gold to spare. Was lucky enough to get my timeworn from dreadspire, but didnt really use it for anything other than RG and occasionally BR. Atleast it let me skip this patch, and let me focus more on making gold again. if i was on MT earlier, maybe i would have made friends before just recently when theres nothing really to farm for gold

Theres a story to that. Bendy was my static healer, but they had friends on VoT who wanted to get dreadspire first clear and SCHM clears. So they server hopped to get stairmaster title and champion laurel at the same time. We'd use IMS to be able to still do runs with them to get them their title.
Funny thing is how few good players there were in those servers, my MT static had to sub in a lot for them when their own static members were busy with real life shit. We'd accidentally get them 1st place ranks on their server in our dry runs without even trying. So little players capable of clearing in fact they could still sell timeworn weapons for obscene prices.

When everyone got started using discord a few weeks back, I was so excited to make some new friends and chat with the group every day. Now I can't even stand to have the chat open for more than a few minutes at a time due to the stream of pseudo roleplaying about dicks or whatever.
I'm considering creating a new discord group once the update hits. I know there are more than a few people that share this sentiment, too. One without any gay shit, possibly even its own servers. Just thinking back to all the 4chan-stemmed communities I've been in the past 8 years, the only ones worth sticking around for were the ones that had somebody in charge who wasn't afraid to say no to faggots. Everyone involved in shitting things up would be banned, permanently.
It's retarded that I'm actually considering this. This situation has gotten to the point where a containment zone is needed in order to keep it from getting worse. I just want to enjoy one of my favourite games ever with you guys.
