My Castle actually does have a weird sort of plot relevance. The outside dimension belongs to the Astral Dragons, which are the dragons who chose to shed their physical bodies rather than descend into madness like Hydra. Lilith giving Kamui a place there reinforces Kamui's role as a child of two worlds, and the one able to succeed where Hydra failed.
