If he gets on you. Trundle has no problems doing damage if he can get on a target, so an item that only helps him when he's already in auto range isn't anything special, every AD item does that. Bork gives you the ability to gapclose as well as more damage, hydra can be used to supplement his lack of wave clear and gives him more damage, cleaver just makes him do more damage.

Right now shaco is pretty underpowered though. I don't know if its just the juggernaut meta but it seems like theres not a lot of squishies these days to assassinate, plus he doesn't do enough damage to compensate for how ridiculously low hp he has. If you build all ad on him he still doesn't do much damage compared to other characters, if you try and build more hp/armor on him you'll basically be a walking ward that does not damage and then you'll still be squishier than everyone else.
