We already know Ostakekeke wins before the game starts because Freeze Mage created a strategy that revolved around trying to defeat your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. Fighting for board control and battles between minions make an overall game of Hearthstone more fun and compelling, but taking 20+ damage in one turn is not particularly fun or interactive.
Freeze mage hard-counters interactive decks and rewards fatigue decks.

The freeze mage deck is a deck that draws like crazy so that it gets what it needs fastly.
He was unlucky to not drawing Alexstrasza early enough to close the game and came after like 4-5 turns.
When he drew her he had 5-6 cards left in his deck.
Ostkaka was in no ways "lucky". He just stopped being unlucky at an expected time.
