No, the devs (Neverland) went under. The owner/publisher (Marvelous) are still very much alive. Marvelous also absorbed a lot of the Neverland devs into their own in-house dev units, so there is good hope that Marvelous will revive their cash cow in the future.

I didn't pick up a Mealy Apple because fuck typhoons and I didn't grab the rusted/shiny screw from the tank boss because you can just grab those off regular tank enemies, same goes for the golem tablet from Sechs Golem.
There is a difference in spell effects depending on charge level and will get onto seeing out what they do and record what happens.

Don't mix your crops/seeds.
All of your crops/seeds have hidden star points, and the stars themselves are tier points for it. Basically, if you have a 2-star seed that you fertilized for 5 days (let's say 4 points each day, so 20 points total) vs a 2-star without, they average out if you mix them, so you get ~10 points. A Star rank is equivalent to 30 points. This means that you'll put more time to increase the star rank of a crop if you keep averaging them.
FYI, it took me 60 days to 4-star a crop (tested it on 0.5 star rank Rice). I'll have the gall to say that you need around 120 days to max star rank the crop, since you get diminishing returns the higher star rank you get to.
Fresh crops get a very small star point bonus if you convert them to seeds, so convert your fertilized stock to seeds right away.

Okay guys, first time here, playing RF4, first harvest moon (If AC isn't one). I'm dating all the girls and want to have all the marriage events for all of them before deciding on who to marry. Is the main event for each girl totally random after LP reaches 10?
Also, who's the better wife? Clorica or Meg? My elffu's the better date by far but my sleepfu's just is too adorable to not marry. Help.

Marriage events are pure RNG and you need to see two of them before you can marry anyone. The second event gets added to the pool of events after you've seen their first.

Yes, you can reset to force events. If you're aiming to see all of them you're going to have to do so anyways.
A few things to keep in mind. You'll probably get some temporary graphical bugs if you soft reset for too long and others have said that it can mess with your save data, but that's unconfirmed.

Developers did shut down a while back, but most of the staff got absorbed by their publisher and they actually put out a new IP last year.
Aside form RF5 getting greenlit before the studio went under, there's nothing confirmed. Xseed did mention in a recent interview that the devs are aware of the demand for a new game in the series, so there's still hope out there.

You can soft reset Rune Factory by hold L+R+Start. It has made weird things happen a couple times, but nothing serious aside from crashing later on.
