Dungeons if you're not leveling a DPS job.
Podcasts and audiobooks if I'm grinding FATEs. The big FATE grinding areas all have PF groups up at reasonable times in non-dead servers.
Leveling alts takes significantly less effort because of the experience bonus you get for playing a class that's lower level than your highest.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, is to only level alt jobs you actually give a shit about, and to not rush it so you don't get burned out.

I apparently cant get Monks down, if its an AoE I need to get out of to fuck with my rotation, its an ADD tank/casting enemy targeting someone else that fucks up my positional damage. Here is what I do as a monk:
Dragon Kick>Twin Snakes>Demolish>Bootshine>Truestrike>Snap Punch>BS>TS>SP and repeat. I tend to pop Blood for Blood after Demolish, and Internal Release after Bootshine

Leviathan didn't come until 2.2 when T5 was unlocked. 2.1 had i90 weapons that came from Primal Focus, but they bumped Gordian weapons up to i95 so they'd still have an advantage.
There's a very real possibility that they'd do that again, and make Gordian weapons i215 in 3.1 so that they'll still be desirable even when i210 weapons are commonplace. But I think the Thordan weapons will still not be higher than i205. They're probably reluctant to even do that and wanted to make them i200, but pretty much everything about this patch is about shoveling gear at people to help mitigate some of the damage that Savage Alexander did to the level of interest in raiding.

I don't get why they made the change. Clearing primals on alts is a pain since by the time the primals get added into the DF, everyone with any sort of competency would have cleared it by then.

The main tank for the world-first T9 clear had 574 VIT, which is consistent with being almost full-VIT at slightly over i90. The main tank for the world-first T13 clear had 682 VIT, which is full Fending at i110.
Maybe you, personally, were in a group that waltzed into Coil on day one with full-STR tanks, but you would have been very lonely in doing so and it definitely wasn't the best way to make progress.

Yes, Off-Tank Paladins will now last slightly longer (and by slightly I mean "maybe 30 seconds longer or so) before running dry on TP, and Main-Tank Paladins will actually run out of TP faster than they did before.
The damage boost is well worth the removal of the game's most questionable form of TP management, though.
