I'm not too knowledgable about Naoto yet. He'sfrom the past and knew one of Rachel's family, I think? I feel like they purposefully do the spin offs to introduce new major characters though so it's not too surprising. And I'm not against major characters being entirely new.
Hibiki is a good choice and I'm not sure if Nine is actually confirmed playable or not yet (they showed her in sprite form so I would assume so) but if she is then that's awesome.

I think my main issue is I haven't really caught any skills I like so far or made a real build so its basically just a bunch of fucking with random shit and trying to continue the story. Lore and style seem pretty cool overall, but the gameplay is starting off pretty slow.
