I'm pretty sure we're getting a patch of some sort. I don't think they've ever done an scheduled maintenance without giving us a patch with it.
However, don't expect anything new yet, or even a major patch. I would expect maybe a couple changes and not much else, if we get anything at all.

With how god damn dull these things are, though, I dunno if I care. Characters in the game has brain problems as usual, but it's way better than 3 & 4, just about everything is better, story, gameplay etc. but not by a large margin.
They changed the character world to a board game like monopoly or some shit, which is a bit more fun, and they added item world to have more mystery rooms.
Post game stuff is about the same length as in previous games.

Chalices are pretty easy to understand, you need to have the type of chalice from the glyph you're searching in your inventory, and you need to make one depth 5 frc to access frc depth 5 (and above) glyphs
Basically in order to access everything you need to clear all the story or nonrng chalices and make one root of ll, ihyl, or isz with all three rites

What I want it blood gems. I've just made a FRC Ihyll, and then replicated one in the OP. If I get to the watchers, kill them, and get a shit gem, what happens? Does the game remember I beat that boss, even if I remove the chalice and reenter the glyph, or is it reset to 0 and the only thing I've lost is time?

You have to deal with the lingering hit boxes from the bites to get the legs.
Once you learn your spacing to bait the bites, the face strategy with the Axe never leaves you at right either.
My way is safer, but admittedly slower, unless you have high BLT.

LHB is the weapon that most people will be using. That makes a strategy involving it the most useful to people. She is also set up to punish long slow combos so getting a perfect on her using it also makes it that much more impressive that abusing parries or the BoM.
I can perfect her using LHB without ever firing a shot 99.99% of the time using an intuitive strategy that anyone should be able to emulate.

So far it seems best as str>arc with nourishing in all 3 slots.
The AR, while we know it doesn't matter and is some kind of glitch at full health, is 897 with two 17% nourishings, a 21.5%, and 50str/10arc.
No buff is about 590, buffed at less than full health is high 700's, like 780 I think it was.
It's very good, but the moveset is extremely limited, literally 3 different attacks. Poke, R1 swing, R2 swing with nearly the same animation and arc.

Guys, it's just gonna be an arcane tonitrus with a more pronounced change in moveset. It'll deal ARC damage in both forms and you'll trick it to "load" a projectile into it. Certain moves will fire the projectile and others will keep it loaded. Make sense?

It seems a lot more likely that it's the chikage of arc builds, untricked being the one handed longsword with maybe a different moveset than kirk and LHB, and tricking it turns it into it's Arc scaling form that gets ridiculous good damage if invested in arc like with chikage and bloodtinge

Chikage style seems more likely, LHB is modeled after ludwigs sword and it starts as a longsword that turns into a greatsword, just without the magic

This is because of the math involved when tricking your Wheel and converting the damage, the Strength scaling tranfers, and, while not as strong as an Arc build Wheel, you can see the outcome.
I like doing this as a Str build since my damage feels nearly the same, tricked or not, but allows for both movesets.

Launching projectiles is a lot more fun than only being limited to a buff. It would be a ton of fun to "charge" up the sword and then make the enemy play in fear of the arcane nuke you've loaded up. Imagine the combo possibilities

It's a greatsword. The moveset can't be that exciting. There's gonna be some overheads and horizontal chops. Maybe a thrust or a spin attack if we're lucky. I think the best idea would be to make the projectile gimmick interesting or a trade off somehow. If they set it up like I suggested, I don't think we'd even need to tie it to a QSB cost because the other requirements surrounding it would be reasonably fair.

I completed two of your dungeons: the Ihyll one and the Isz one.
Ihyll one had ENORMOUS layers and some red jellies on the second layer along with tons of backbones throughout the dungeon itself. There were also two undead giants on the second layer that dropped really good Adept gems. It was a really fun dungeon aside from the boss of the final layer, Bloodletting Beast. I hate fighting that fucker.
Anyway, the Isz one was interesting. Didn't really get any good bloodgems or anything, but there was a chest on the second layer bonus room that contained:

>4 bastards of loran
>6 tomb mold (5)
I think that chest is glitched-- I've never looted one with so many materials inside. I'll probably re-do the dungeon again and see if that chest still gives me the same results.

Unfortunately, if you want the Stake Driver without killing the Zoophile, you will not be able to:
- Get the LHB for ages
- Get to Cathedral Ward without spending 10,000 souls on a key
- Access an area before drastic changes ensue
If you're still OK with that, then just play the game until you find a SIGNIFICANT change in the game. In the new area, make sure to explore EVERYTHING, and you'll find a path to an optional boss, called Paarl. Once you encounter him, you can go back to Old Yharnam and Beastboy won't be hostile, and you can go talk to him.
ENSURE THAT YOU DO NOT CLIMB HIS TOWER BEFORE ENCOUNTERING PAARL IF YOU WANT TO BEFRIEND HIM. He will be hostile for the rest of the game.

All before killing Amelia
