In general no. The story isn't that great and the art is terrible mostly because it switches so often. If you want a preview, just go to streetfightercomics.com. They have a new page every MWF and there are lots of chapters so far.

The Ibuki one is part of an older set of comics they did call Legends. They don't change artists often (if at all, I can't remember) and are a bit better than the normal comics imo.

I found the Ibuki one to be a pretty fun read... made me feel like a huge fag for enjoying it.

At this point we can't say basically anything significant about the gameplay, but we can look and judge the graphics, so that's what we do.

I'm personally really looking forward to Kof xiv and really hope it plays well.
But it looks ugly and that's gonna drive away otherwise potential newcomers, which in worse case scenario leaves playerbase outside of mehico and china to be tiny veterans only club.

They used indiegogo which has a smaller userbase than Kickstarter, they asked for the full amount they needed instead of a smaller goal and leave the rest of the features to stretch-goals, Lab Zero/Skullgirls doesn't have a large enough fanbase to pull in 1.5mil on their own, the style of JRPG they're going for is niche, there's no massive mainstream nostalgia value in Indivisible.

Those are the only possible factors I could think of now. They tried to play with the deck stacked against them and refused to compromise.

I think somewhat of the problem is Mike Z likes to talk about important stuff about the game but doesn't actually put it in the kickstarter or anything. For example he made a pretty convincing point on why they are asking for so much on a stream but never actually said any of that shit in the kickstarter. Why aren't you doing telling everybody who might potentially fund it rather than on a stream for people that will probably already fund it if they have the money.

What's funny to is how well they handled SG but for some reason they just aren't doing it well with Indivisible.

It's really a shame because I really like Lab Zero they are really hard workers and they are really transparent with everything which I like. They are a really good example of what game developers should be like (besides the twitter and forum shit) and without Indivisible getting funded it's done for them and they'll never make another game again together. Not only that but I think Indivisible actually looks like a good game. I actually kinda feel that it was a bad idea for them to have the campaign have fixed funding since there is the slight possibility that they could still make the game even if it isn't all funded

well, look at it from my perspective.

i don't know much about the staff. so i found some stuff out via their twitter and their forum. there were quite a few things that could be summed up as "we don't care about potential customers" and "we're going to do this game our way whether you like it or not" and "pssh, we don't need YOUR money."

that kind of shit doesn't fly. if this campaign does succeed somehow, the company will not go far with that kind of attitude. that shit straight up does not fly unless you are an indie developer who develops the game on your own time and of your own volition. then you have every right to because no customer is paying for your development time.

but to be a potential customer and read that kind of shit really makes me not only want to keep my money, but also dislike the staff. i appreciate them being transparent and blunt. but there's a reason why so many companies are not either of those things yet still garner tons of loyal customers. again, if this continues, they won't get anywhere, regardless of the campaign's outcome.

New player here. Trying to learn T. Hawk in Ultra. Got most of the basics down. I know his basic setups after light SPD, I know how to use all of his normals, my execution for his specials and basic combos into tomahawk is solid.

Having trouble with links though. Like three jabs into standing medium punch. I can only make it combo half the time. Is there a trick to it or do I just have to practice until I completely memorize the timing?
