There's a reason pub stars exist on arguably bad characters, ie proxy. A pro level proxy with a pistol can still win pubs. Not everything needs to be tourney viable to be enjoyable and work for a vast majority of the players. They really need to revamp several parts of this game. The coloration of enemies is complete shit, instead of mercs being colorful or at least strong in their palette, they get washed with white and have red rim lighting. This can't be more fugly and displeasing to look at, considering how good the rest of the rest of the game actually looks.
They did the same thing with brink, too. They start with strong, colorful characters that get completely washed out. It's lame. pic related
