And speaking of Alice, she was such a shitty leader that she lost everything to Yuugi. And then Yukari accepted Alice in her 2hus army, which is fine, as long as she doesn't get herself raped again.
Normally you can only attack enemies territories that are right next to your territories, but you can also jump attack enemies territories that are right next to your allies territories even if you're not actually in contact with either of them. This faggot Akyuu is my ally and she exploited this shit and stole a land I was planning to take in the left circle in the picture. It was all fine until I realized something gone horribly wrong. So Yukari, the one in the right circle, really hates me for some reason, and she decided to ally with Akyuu which was the start of my nightmare. Because of the ally jump attack mechanics, Yukari can attack my lands at any moment through Akyuu's lands without me having a way to attack her only city. Both Yukari and Alice have some top tier stats in the game, when they team up together they can be quite strong and I have to spend a lot of resource to fend them off.
So while trying to figure out a way to reach the right side of the map to fight the fucking teleport-rape aliens, I am constantly bugged by Yukari and her little bitch Alice until my ally pact with Akyuu ends 7 turns later. I can break the pact now but I don't want to risk it yet.

W10 has a lot of weird difficult to pinpoint issues when trying to run older games, and even when there are workarounds they still don't work for everyone.
There probably is a solution to your problem but it's probably simpler and less time consuming to just dual boot 7, or run a virtual machine.
