What if in Splatoon 2, instead of popularity and win percents, Splatfests are determined by the amount of players on each team who achieve the higher ranks? Say it's 1 point for base rank joining a team, 2 for the next, 3 for the next, 5 for King/Queen. At the end of the Splatfest, it adds up the scores of everyone's rank on all the teams, and that's the scores it pits against each other for who wins the Splatfest. Would this be more fair? The way it goes is this. If there's a small difference in popularity, it doesn't matter because the weight given to the popularity is 4x smaller than the weight given to the victory percentage. If there's an overwhelmingly large popularity, like 65:35, the difference doesn't matter in the opposite direction because the weight of the popularity is enough to matter. If there's a large but not overly large difference, then the number of mirror matches harms the more popular team and the points gained by popularity don't help it.

I used to have a lot of trouble with dynamos. They're really powerful but here's a tip to help you splat them more consistently: you have consciously exclude the roller itself from your aim. Shooting the roller does nothing. Your eye unconsciously moves towards it, since it's a huge target and a threat and your aim will suffer as well. So focus on aiming only at the inkling and more importantly NOT the roller. You'll start splatting rollers of all kinds a lot better.
