in terms of strike-boss DPS, then yes, but outside of that it isn't a reliable "point and kill everything in the general vicinity" gun.
Once bungie patch the ammo bugs, if it does get to 9-11, it will be a really good gun, but at the moment, you should just switch to it at the end of a strike before a boss because one rocket fills the sleeper and sword ammo is point-for-point when filling it up.

wifi isn't nearly as bad as it was 10 years ago idk what the problem is. Especially with mixed radio frequency options (a,g,b,n) the connection to the router should be just fine.
Like I said I'm on 5ghz which has a shorter range than 2.4ghz has and my connection to the router is fine.

Just running a wired connection is the optimal solution, it's still not expensive or difficult. I understand that is an effort that's a pain to have to do though.
The other thing I'd suggest (other than just moving your router to a better location) is plugging boosters into your power network.

Your experience is one where nothing has gone wrong. That's great, but wi-fi drop outs in the home are a thing that I assure you do occur. The most common reason is interference due to stone walls or frequency interference from other appliances, which fortunately means the owner can do something about it if they can be bothered. Most of the time however, they just want to phone up the router company and bitch at them, get told to change their freq and reset, then repeat the cycle whenever their local interference drops them out at a crucial point in a game or tv show.
Combine this with Destiny's somewhat skittish connections, and there have been a lot of wi-fi destiny players being upset.
