THEN search for a decreased/increased value by a certain number (typically decreasing for seeds and increasing for JP)
Keep using seeds/battling while searching for values accordingly until 1-3 (or whatever number you can manage) values remain and edit the value you suspect is the right one
You need more than one seed for duplicating those unless you get lucky with the values and guess right

Newfag to the whole MGQ thing here, what's the difference between the "Original Megapack" and "Parts 1-3 Translated"? Isn't the OG Megapack translated already?

NG+ is, as its name implies, a new game created by the saltlord known as Ecstasy. Its not really a "patch" in terms of amount of content added. I'm not going to go that deep into it but its the thing you play when you finish the original game.
Parts 1-3 Translated is just the base game. The mega pack if I remember correctly should have the base game as well as NG+ together all patched and translated. NG+ and the original game should have two separate folders.
You can either download the base game and NG+ separately or just get it all in the mega pack now. Besides that it should be straightforward.

Possibly just parts 1 and 3 translated but also containing NG+, which, to answer your last question, is a mod that adds a story that can be summarized as 'Luka goes back in time but has all his levels and memories of what happened in the original game'. It's incomplete but it's released in parts.
Paradox is a sequel to MGQ that is made in RPGmaxer, before you ask. It's not translated fully.
There's also the fic that you could read if you finish everything already mentioned.

For the people trying to bypass the grind, the EX translation patch actually has a feature to max out levels / active job / active race for the current party. It seems to be much simpler and quicker than fiddling with cheat engine (I maxed out a team in about an hour).

Anyway, Asuka, as featured above... is completely fine. She finished college at like age 14 and somehow earned the military rank of Captain in this time too. And, by Fallout mechanics, she's got plenty of points in Unarmed, Melee Weapons, Small Guns, Large Guns, Energy Weapons... Really, if her opponents weren't mind-rapey energy beings, the series would've ended a lot sooner as soon as Asuka kicked everything's ass.

And, well, that's not going to go well. She's massively reliant on magic. Sure, she'll have plenty of skill in say Doctor and First Aid and Repair and Science, but that whole Graverobber thing tends to not go over well with people.
Actually, now that I think about it, she's fine with mechanized weapons... chainsaws, gatling guns, tanks, but she really needs someone else to wield the heavy artillery because her Strength just isn't there to wield them. I just recently discovered this series so I wanted to ask - Do you think it has good enough story to keep a female audience interested? I think I've been playing for about 10 minutes, and the story is like kind of laughable so far, like almost comical since you're like this cute shota protagonist in onstant danger of being deflowered or something. I don't know. I came for the porn and stayed for the porn. The game is pretty humorous though, and the battles can be fun. Part 3 battles are pretty RNG though. People say the story is good, and it IS good for a porn game, but honestly it's still a pretty meh story imo. But it does have good characters.
I actually haven't fapped very much to Paradox though since it's mostly untranslated, but the RPG mechanics are pretty well done and kept me hooked.
In Paradox you can even take Luka out of the active battle party and just use a team of monster girls for battles and walk around as whichever girl you have at the front of the party. So it's probably easier to pretend you're one of the girls in Paradox.

What I did though is I watched Fate/Zero first then watched the original Fate/Stay night anime but dropped it halfway through cuz I got bored then watched Kara no Kyoukai then the new Unlimited Blade Works then I wanted to watch Carnival Phantasm but I wanted to know the Tsukihime characters first so I watched Tsukihime and now I'm going to watch Carnival Phantasm next.
