You collect the 4 dungeon items, the ones you had to buy with gil/seals/tomes, and the crafted items, and complete the quest.

No. The combo effect can be anything at all and "composition" is an afterthought. Doubling up is moronic unless it's handled by another role (NIN, for example).
Paladin gets an offensive (bleed) and defensive (strength) effect.
Warrior gets an offensive (slash) and defensive (damage) effect.
Dark knight gets an offensive (magic?) and defensive (accuracy?) effect.

I should've been clearer though, since the split pieces all have the prefix "Dark Divinity" I'm pretty sure.
Also, I've not really found much of an application for Presence of Mind outside of DPSing, to be honest. Maybe pop it alongside Divine Seal during massive chain pulls in dungeons so you can throw out Cure IIs faster and guarantee no tank death?
