Why are JRPGs considered such a taboo to normals?
Why do JRPG have boring turn based combat that refuse to add anything new to the formula? It can be turn based but not boring as a ll fuck.

Most JRPGs are heavily narrative based. If you wouldn't read a book, you probably dont want to play a JRPG either.
The art style is also heavily influenced by japanese anime, which many people still associate with the "lol weird japan schoolgirl pantsu vending machines tentacle porn california roll" mentality that most americans still have about japan.

He means a fast forward during battle. Not auto. You have complete control over what the characters do in battle, and if you press right on the D-pad, the battle speeds up. There is also an auto button though.

You need to give Aquors some time because it just started after all. Things can change for them. You also forget: μ's sure as hell wasn't perfect. Outside of Maki, Nico and Nozomi, most of the cast ranged from okay (everyone else) to downright awful (Honoka and Eli). Worst cast scenario is that Aquors ends up like that as well.
