Daily reminder for all fat fuck gamers out there: cut the carbs out of your rations, because they're usually the most common reason you're getting too many calories due to carb cravings.

If you want to sit on your ass all day and not get fat, go low carb high fat and eat only self-cooked meals. Eat meat, fish, shitloads of low carb vegetables, sprinkle and cook all of your meals with extra virgin olive oil for healthy mono/poly-unsaturated fats, eat butter and eggs for saturated fats, munch on Brazil and walnuts for snacks, eat/drink full fat dairy like 50% fat cheese or 3% and higher fat milk while eliminating all sugary and high carb garbage from your diet like soft drinks, anything including starch or made from flour or rice (except unprocessed rice, aka brown rice).

This kind of diet will blunt your hunger naturally, you will get satiated extremely fast once you adapt after a week or so and you will almost never be hungry. I'm 6ft and right at 300 pounds so yes, I'm a fat bastard. The longest I've been able to stay on a diet was 2 weeks, but I fell back into eating shit, I'm addicted to food. It's the classic cycle of feeling horrible after you do it but I still feel horrible when I'm eating right I guess because my brain and body are so used to the sugar and carbs and shit. And the sad part is there was a phase from about 2008 to 2010 where I maintained a weight around 160ish and was actually pretty hot, but I got fucking depersonalization disorder soon after that, along with my ongoing depression worsening. It's been downhill ever since and I don't know how to find the strength to get back.

I'm never too sure, I think I'm just ever so slightly closer to 5' 8". It's never bothered me though. My grandparents still will not believe me when I tell them that's my height. They're convinced I'm 5' 11" despite what my doctors have said and me having measured my own height at home. I think it hurts my grandfathers pride, as he's short than me. I think the best think you can do is count your calories.

Speaking as a giant fat fuck, when I used to do calorie counting, I lost a lot of weight quick. Partly because being aware of exactly how much I was eating when not counting, and once I cut back a lot of the excess fat dropped off right quick, without exercise or any real changes to my lifestyle.

After a while, though, you actually need to start exercising, or cut back even harder, and I fell off around there.

I did Keto for 2 months about 4 years ago and I was violently sick the entire time. Meanwhile Ketofags were telling me I must have a cold or have cancer because Keto is so amazing and gives you so much energy that there's absolutely no way it could make you sick.

A ate a piece of bread and was instantly better. I lost 35lbs, which is all I wanted to lose, but not worth it. Main reason I lost weight is because the only food I could keep down was chicken stock.

It just doesn't work for everyone.

You probably did the keto diet wrong. Remember: you NEED to eat at least 75-80% of calories from your base metabolic rate. Anything less than that and you're going to lose fat faster, than it is actually good for you, because if you start eating too little, your body will not only break down fat, but it will also breakdown your muscles as well and turn protein into glucose.

The #1 most important factor in whether and how fast you lose weight is how much you eat. Which is a marked improvement from 265 I was last year. I got down to 230 but started being a little bitch and didn't keep my diet going or work out. I'm back in the gym and on keto, goal is 190. You'd be surprised at how much weight you lose cutting out sugar. No soda or sweet tea, juices, shit like that. Keto is also amazing after you get past your mandatory week or so of feeling like shit from no carbs.

For reference, I mean my family started cooking most nights. It's a lot more difficult to count the calories in home food than fast food, with fast food the exact number is available. But you have to measure homecooked by weight, and when someone else is cooking and you're not there to see what all went in it, it's hard to know how much it is.

It all depends on whether he exercises or not. If he does, he needs to eat carbs to replenish his muscle glycogen to perform at his best. If he doesn't eating carbs while trying to lose weight is a bad idea. It's better to get most of your calories (around 60% and more) from fat (very satiating, does not cause cravings) and around 20-25% from protein. The rest can be carbs, depending on whether you want to go into ketosis or not.

The trick is to stop drinking soda. You can eat whatever you want, but it's ultimately soda's ludicrously high sugar content that packs on the pounds.

Soda is no different from other sources of sugar, like fruit. The one thing people do not understand, is that modern fruit sold in supermarkets are literally mutant plants that have a significantly higher sugar content, compared to their natural counterparts that may no longer even exist, since they were phased out by the high sugar content hybrids.
