It doesn't surprise me, Anubis is a you win in a landslide or you don't win at all kind of map. If you complete shut down the enemy team on the first point and rush the second they won't have time to set up or to get their ults ready for revives so going to the second point IMMEDIATELY is always the best strategy.

Am I the only person who likes Hanamura? Yeah the second point is pure aids if you're attacking, but generally I always enjoy playing Hanamura, both attacking and defending. It's a fun map which separates good teams from shit ones.

Hanamura is like Anubis but worse. More tight chokepoints (the high left flank seems better than Anubis's choke but it's incredibly easy to defend), second point is seemingly open but absolute ass to actually attack, the defenders respawn too close there

I hate to compare this to TF2 but can we talk about the map designs between the 2 games?
Its most likely me but overwatch has the better scenery design but when it comes to the map layout design TF2 feels better like the area's compliment the classes more in certain areas and others not so much.
Now thats not to say I think overwatch doesn't compliment some characters very well like Pharah where a lot of indoor areas have very high ceilings that let her attack from the up above.
Granted making a well balanced map for multiple characters for overwatch is pretty difficult.
