I take Gyms all the time which is pretty fun, but also bugged. If you have a good enough connection you can dodge every enemy attack and take no damage.

Look up how much Blastoise gains per candy and how many it costs to evolve and decide. You wont waste your dust or we that shit is called evolving so that may be a deciding factor aswell

At level 20 I find a lot of 550+ eevees. They're around 1400-1600 when evolved. I'll only evolve if at 90-95% of the cp bar. All my evolutions come out 1000+ now.
This is from only going out on walks for about 1 to 2 hours a day

That's what I'm seeing. I'm trainer level 15 and haven't used a single stardust. My highest is an 800CP Golduck. I dont have enough candies to evolve a Psyduck yet but at this point why would I? I'll just find a better Golduck and replace my 800CP with whatever I came across.
As far as I can tell evolution is only for experience. I suppose you could evolve into a higher CP mon than usual but you'd have to be lucky to get one that's already nearly maxed on CP and have enough candies to do it.

No, each type of egg has a set list of possible pokemon that can spawn from it. Also you've mixed up Onix and Paras. Rattatas only spawn from 2km eggs

Same. When I evolved my Eevee and got a Jolteon, I was excited because my local gym was stacked with water types, the first being a Vaporeon that was almost 200 CP lower than my Jolteon. Took him up there and he got KO'd in about 10 seconds, and did almost no damage to the Vaporeon despite every attack being super effective. It almost seems like it's a bug or something. I can't see why they'd intentionally make one of the Eeveelutions terrible and the others OP.

Pop a lucky egg and evolve as many as possible. Transfer what's left and keep evolving them.
When you have nothing left to evolve go catch as much as you can while you run the lucky egg timer out.

From my experience anything past 3-5 miles is a soft ban for like 3 minutes maybe? Goes away fast for me. Not sure why. When you're catching a million Zubats a day, you're going to have way, way, way more candies than you could ever use.
