I tend to play new games in one very long session, then just never return to playing them after the first play session. It's a bad habit I need to break. I also drop traditional RPGs like crazy because the mash-A-through-menus "deep and intricate" combat isn't enough to keep me entertained. The stories are usually fine and interesting, and bosses are usually fun, but the gameplay is so bare bones and lackluster for all the common enemies that I just can't force myself to keep playing through another score of grunts and giant enemy crabs.

The only thing that imply on Xenoverse 2 is that all Frieza race characters are already in their final form or are different from person to person as Cooler had a bonus form where Frieza own father seem to be stuck on what was Frieza 2nd form.

Instead of adding vertical progression that effectively nullifies everything you've done up to that point, you can add horizontal content.
New abilities, new talent trees, new professions, new equipment with stats geared toward different play styles.
They could have added the Outlands and made the quests there geared towards obtaining these new horizontal rewards.
They also added the new races which would incentivise people to reroll, so they could have still kept the cap at 60 and included leveling content in the Outlands. I would have been kinda cool from a lore standpoint too, as the new flood of Draenei players would populate the Outland, the home of the Draenei.
The thing that annoys me about adding vertical progression is that it nullified MONTHS of work.
Leveling didn't annoy me so much, you could probably level a character to 60 in a week of intensive play, but end game is what it's all about.
Raiding could be fun, but it was repetitive. I didn't run raids every week just because I loved the experience so much, the primary motivator was getting loot, getting geared, and I know I'm not alone in that. The most fun I had in WoW was when my character was finally "finished", fully geared and strong as fuck. Being able to roam the world and do what I wanted without fear, using my strength to help my allies.
Did I want to explore the Outlands and the new raiding content?
Sure, but was I willing to nullify all the progress I'd made up to that point in order to do so? No thanks.

Most recent was Titan Quest. Reached the final boss having done every optional quest and side area along the way, the whole game has been pretty easy. TW2. I've tried to play it multiple times now, but it never works. I love the intro, but as soon as I get to Flotsam I just zone out. I played it for about 5-7 rounds and in that time I felt like it was a game for handicapped people or something. Its ok to be a "fun casual shooter", but it wasnt even fun. The characters seemed neat, but the gameplay was really boring, the maps are all small chokepoints, ultimates require little to no planning and it just felt really fucking stale somehow. I did the right move in not buying it to my main blizzard account so I could sell that account to a friend for a bit of pocket money. Goddamn that game was bad.
