I wanted Ocelot to be super gay for Big Boss too.
It just seemed freakishly appropriate given how much Kaz loved Big Boss and it would make sense if the "angel" on his shoulder also loved him. I didn't want an actual expression of love but just implied.
Any other shit work of fiction would outright say one of them were gay. But I didn't want that.
Actually I just wanted a human moment out of Ocelot. Here he was not, consciously, playing pretend; he was just himself, not some crazy old man. I wanted to see him act "normal" and instead they wrote him as the most boring man on the planet.
