I recently started played CoD Black Ops 3 on my PS4 because a friend traded it for me for some nasty shoes and 15 dollars. So far the campaign is shit (Way worse than Modern Warfare 2), multiplayer is pretty good (Faster than Destiny), and zombies is fun but kinda boring because they dont tell you what to do. Anyways, I just wanted to know what other games have fun Multiplayer or PvP. Recommend me something /v/irgins
I'm not exactly the type of guy to play multiplayer, but I've quite enjoyed Metal Gear Online (MGS5). Pretty fun.

Anyways, I recommend rocket league, hell divers, doom (personally I liked it), and paragon if MOBAFPS is your thing.

BO3 is trash in multiplayer. maps are god awful, guns are VMP M8A7 WIN, killstreaks are trash except for HATR RAPS. i miss the BO1, MW1, and MW2 map design philosophy.

Nah, BO3 has some great gun balance, some of the best in the franchise. Most of it's aspects are great standalone, but everything put together made for a meh-tier game.
Zombies is still great though.

I agree, Zombies is fantastic. Do you know if the second and third map pack for zombies is any good? i only got the first dlc pack. it's fantastic.

Paragon isn't an FPS; it's not even first-person. It's a third-person MOBA.
It is hands-down the best competitive game on the platform.

I've played some of the previous CODs recently and I got to say BO3 just doesn't feel right in comparison. Every time I get in a 1v1 it feels like a coin flip decides who wins. Sometimes I shoot first and get killed instantly, sometimes I get hit first and kill them with fewer bullets than usual and wonder how I survived. This stuff happens in every shooter but it happens way more frequently in every COD since BO2.

GRIM.exe is interesting. Kallari is interesting. Iggy & Scorch are interesting. There's lots of interesting characters which are presently underpowered.
The balance is bad right now but that'll be fixed in a couple weeks, and in the meantime enjoy junglers and carries.

The last 3 heroes have been fighters, two of them tanks. Greystone has two passives, he's simpler to play than taking a shit. The game didn't need a braindead hero, and it certainly didn't need another tank.
Howitzer was my favorite hero in .28, now that he's shit I have lost most of my will to play. If they don't strictly buff casters in the next update I'll probably uninstall and try to remember to pick it up when balance is better.

No, he's just difficult to play. His root is godlike in enabling ganks, his ult can make good plays and isolate enemies in teamfights, he has great stats when soul-stacked, and most of all he's a jungler and the jungle has RIDICULOUS cash now.
Howitzer just does not do enough damage to make a difference, his ult can easily be walked out of (yes he combos with Muriel but so does everyone), and his slow sucks. He needs individual attention.

That doesn't make any sense. Most of the aspects are horrible either alone or together. Extremely high flinch/aim punch leads fights to be even more random than normal, "ultimate" abilities that have little counter play and boil down to just being free kills traded back and forth, weak kill streaks that cost too much and too easily taken out, etc. Then on top of all of that, you get the signature Treyarch trash lag, which was only acceptable in BO2 because the rest of the game wasn't designed like trash like BO3 is.

The Specialist abilities are all "countered" by shooting them in the face before they shoot you, same as anything else.
They're not necessarily "free kills" and they do add a significant skill component since their effectiveness is only as much as the player's timing and skill with that particular ability or weapon, as well as how well the selected Specialist synergizes with the rest of their loadout and playstyle. It's not always obvious.
If you're better with the Specialist system, you'll get more kills on average than someone who pops theirs and dies immediately.

Also worth noting that the Specialists are incredibly well-balanced and unique; all of them are viable in the right context. They're also very fun to use.
