Katawa Shoujo is really one of the finest VN's ever made.
There is no other VN that ever goes into such depth concerning the characterization and emotions on display.
I am so thankful tge game was realized by some passionate western devs instead of the shallow, creatively bankrupt, man children who have never had a deep thought in their lives and only care about making cashgrabs that make up the japanese game industry.
KS was almost ruined for me by the overwhelming feelings of embarrassment I felt for the nation of Japan as a whole.
Their culture just seems childish and bland when represented through its garbage VN games
