Have two servers, one until the final patch, then a fresh one and then merge them by the end of their lifetime, then start another new one. People who want to play fresh can do so, people who want to stick to the last patch can also do so.
People also don't play for the community alone. People who don't like Wrath aren't going to play it period. Some prefer to stick to other versions of the game so the option should be there or they'd just go to private servers again.
Also LFG was the worst thing in terms of community destruction but not the only. A ton of aspects of Wrath removed inclination to communicate/
