31 here, still get that feel, although the pressure on my free time means for quite a few games its a case of being thankful a game is over so I can start another.
Also, big extravagant megabudget games seem to kinda lose this effect
I return to the multiplayer games i've long since gotten bored of.
Overwatch. League. Payday 2. Hearthstone.
Eventually another game comes along and the spark is briefly ignited. Rinse repeat.
