I think I enjoyed it much more than I should. Got it with PS+ expecting nothing, got pretty fun survival.

All the pad functionality is just menus in game, so a generic survival horror game with a nifty gimmick just lost its gimmick.
Other than that, it's exactly the same.

Well, difficulty is unchanged. You can still die in one bite, you still loose all your loot if you die and so on.
