I play it daily and it's honestly not that bad. Most of the shitters play Overwatch so you always run into decent players, there is also a surprisingly amount of girls playing it. Like 2-3 on my team every game, its weird.

No. Intro to the new wave of class-based shooters.
Paladins, Paragon, and Battleborn are MOBAs. They have both a PvP and Pve element. While Paragon and Paladins are TPS, Battleborn is an FPS.
Overwatch, Lawbreakers and Battlecry (if it ever comes out) are "hero shooters" or TF2-clones. They are strictly PvP and class based. Each character has abilities like a MOBA but that's pretty much where the similarities end. Closer to SMNC.
Quake Champions is like a mix between a hero shooter and arena shooter. It has different characters with different stats but no special abilities.
There's probably a few I'm forgetting but whatever.

They apparently recently released a patch aimed at fixing most of that image, and even during normal gameplay it didn't look like that the person in the image is purposefully leaving 2-3 things such as level ups and the inventory open. But then i haven't played since like 3 weeks after launch.
This game gets a lot of false or misleading information passed off as fact though and i believe that serves to alienate many people who would otherwise give it a try.
