Gran Turismo 5: Because I booted it up, picked a random race, and it happened to be a Non-premium car on a Non-premium track (If you don't know what those are, they're literally ports of PS2 models into the PS3 GT Engine without any upresing or texture upscaling) And on top of it all it happened to be an at the time (Dunno if they ever fixed it) a phyisics glitched combination, so the car couldn't get past a certain point in the track because the incline was too steep for it.
Resident evil Operation Raccoon City: Because holy shit that game was just bad at every level and something completely different was advertised.
Bioshock Infinite
The whole game was so uninteresting from the start. The gunplay was trying too hard to be a shooter like CoD while I was expecting something more like the first Bioshock.

Bloodborne. Never played a Demons or Dark souls game, wanted to see what the fuss was. Didn't realize you're supposed to die at that first wolf enemy to get weapons. Died. Dropped it. I honestly don't get it, the combat is slow and laggy as fuck. Good thing I payed 12$ for it and not 60$. Almost picked it up again today but played bayonetta instead.

I tried some Vampire Bloodlines game on PC. It wouldn't let me skip through dialogue with NPCs by clicking or pressing any keys, and one of the first guys who talked to me sounded like Bender from Futurama.

I convinced myself to play through Bioshock Infinite, convinced it was going to get better at some point, that the first 5 hours were teaching me the game and that the maps would open up and maybe I'd get another weapon slot, but no. 3 hours later I beat the game and regretted paying 60 fucking dollars for it.

I actually liked this one better than Far Cry 2.
FC2 was the game I just dropped. You go through and completely demolish an enemy outpost, then you drive away and come back five minutes later and it's completely rebuilt again. Nope.jpg
I liked the FC3 outposts, though. Admittedly it got stale after twenty of them, but at least each one was designed differently and had neat mechanics. All those animal hunting quests got old fast though.

I was young and had just received an Xbox for Christmas. The box art looked cool and I was blinded by excitement for new, Xbox-exclusive titles.
Some of the most un-fun gameplay I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I think I dropped it in like 30 minutes and returned it to Gamestop the following day.

...the only parts that could even come close to being what you described in KOTOR are either when you have to switch to the other character in your party to unlock a door because he has points in lock picking (he literally tells you this verbatim, it is not some dumb Skyrim Claw "Oh, u didn't know ;)?" bullshit) and another part where you have to use a splice tool or whatever by interacting with whatever is needing to be spliced, and pressing the option that says "Use Item [1 in Inventory]".
