Hello, /v/. I have some insider information about Pokemon Sun/Moon. I will not tell you how I got this information. Here is what I have to say.
-There will be a new Type, called "アストロ". It roughly translates to "Astro". "Astro" does half damage to Dark, Steel, and Fire. It is supereffective against Fairy, Electric, and Ghost. It takes half damage from Fairy, Fighting, and Poison.
-There is a third legendary, and it is called "Marshadow". It is a Ghost/Astro type. Its signature move is called "Ghost Mirror".
-Several Pokemon's types are changed to Astro, and some newly introduced ones have an Astro typing as well. Deoxys, Darkrai, Munna, the Nidorans, and Gastly, as well as their evolutionary lines, are all given a secondary Astro typing.
-Final starter evolutions are Water/Psychic, Grass/Flying, and Fire/Dark.
-Raichu, Wigglytuff, Electivire, Magmortar, Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr are all given Megas.
-Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr all have a connection to the Alola region. Mega evolving Typhlosion involves a volcano, Feraligatr involves the ocean, Meganium involves a tropical forest.
-Mew has 3 new Formes - a Solstice Forme, an Eclipse Forme, and an Equinox Forme.
-The stones on the bracelets of the Trainers actually represent Ho-Oh and Lugia. The stones on the bracelets allow them to evolve, similar to Primal Evolution in ORAS.
-Ho-Oh and Lugia are a big part of the plot once again, as are their respective legendary trios.
-You can't go back to Kalos, but one of the Kalos Elite Four members are in the Alola Elite Four - Siebold.
-Both starters and Legendaries are shiny locked. Sorry :/
-There are 2 new Mythicals - Magearna and Levilow, a Fighting/Psychic type.
