On it's own SimCity 5 is not actually bad, but as part of the SimCity series is fucking terrible.
Also why is no one making an open source clone of SimCity 2k?

Yeah. It makes sense - the game is good, but it doesn't appeal in the same ways as the previous games. They can't be played in the same way.
Is there a good building-sim for rural areas or farms? Cities are comfy, but slow farm areas are comfier.
