It all goes downhill from mama frog onwards. The game had a LOT of potential, but suffered from the same thing that plagued most no name platformers, brawlers and assorted forgettable SNES games: shitty moves and hit detection

The human felt a lot less powerful than staying as any of the other forms. Though being a merman, dragon or elephant was pretty dope.

Being a human fucking sucked. The only advantage was being able to shift back and forth from small to large to cheaply refill HP.
The final areas were vastly easier as a heavily upgraded beast.
