What upsets me about all this bullshit is there's a lot of great ideas with questing and dungeons, but they're all too late for anyone to be excited. they fucked up. Lich King was good for me. Nice balance of quality content that I think was the standard since going forward. Burning Crusade raised the bar from vanilla but even that content feels aged.
I liked that Cata revamped all the old worlds to that standard, although I lost interest during the Cata level experience that I didn't even bother doing level cap activities and un-subbed.
My favorite experience was co-oping the game with leveling new characters that synergies. Double rouges, double hunters, tanks and healers, double mage.
Dungeons are gay without crowd control, that was the funniest bit.

As someone who mains MCH, the only buttons that are useless in combat are:
X = very situational bind ability
S = can't summon mount during combat
ctrl ` and ` = can't teleport while in combat

I love how these webms always end at around 20 seconds, because that's when you run out of off-globals and all jobs slow to a crawl as you wait 2-3 minutes for cooldowns to abilities that together only amount to like 3% of your damage anyway. Fuck, just to keep the rotations from being a literally macro-able list of abilities always hit in the same order they added the random proc to dragoon, which was immediately met with backlash to the point they had to nerf how effective it was. Demo is currently the best warlock experience, even if your character feels weak in a way because your whole thing is about summoning more and more demons and empowering/buffing them.
It also has the best artifact acquisition quest (the weapon itself talks to you.
Unholy DK is one of the best specs in the game right now. Unlike many other artifact abilities, Apocalypse's really has an impact on your rotations and feels really powerful.
DK's also have arguably the best class campaign as wella s the coolesta rtifact skins and tier set, which balances out them getting same old same old Acherus as a class hall and not receiving any model upgrades to pets like warlocks did.
Do Americans still play WoW? Last time I checked only gold spammer chinks and EU faggots mainly played it.

Nope. Only big buffs as "+20% crit chance for all the raid" have 2-3 min cd. Damaging instant skills have 40-50 sec CD, time enought to complete whole rotations.
Also you don't waste all your instant skills on the 1st rotation, you keep some for the 2nd time while you are recovering the 1st ones. And let's not forget about how hard is in that game to make full rotations with all the positioning and boss mechanics being dropped every 5 seconds.

FFXIV's PVE is diferent than WoW's. You get 1 raid with 3-4 dificulty modes and can complete one each week. FFXIV get packs of raids with 2 dificulty modes (1 for casuals, 1 endgame) and can be repeated as times as you want per week but only looting once.
Diferent games, diferent End games.
One thing is for sure, FFXIV never had a full year withouth content patches like wow and it has more variety of pve content.

Mythic raiding in WoW is a joke with all the addons and third party tools people have at their disposal these days.
It's harder to find people with the same item level, raid schedule, and willingness to put up with a neckbeard on a mic than it is to actually do the mythic raid mechanics.

My biggest gripe is how bored I quickly get with classes. When I was leveling WAR in FFXIV I found myself bored with the class by 43. I decided to go MNK and got bored by 33, especially with that fate and dungeon grind. I decided to give WHT a try and gave up by 22. By that time I burned out with the game. I can see why it's fun but just couldn't stick with it.
In WoW I can choose between 3 different specs for each class changing up the gameplay.

The thing is...everybody had a hard time beating it because for a casual raid it has a lot of things happening, a lot of "1 ppl fail, whole raid dies" etc. Most of the 24 man bosses on the game have 1 or 2 important things to do and the rest is "let's dps till it dies". Ozma was harder than that.
Knights of The Round Extreme...on the other hand it's one of the best bosses I've ever fight on a MMO. It's hype as fuck.

Every melee job on FFXIV has a lot of skills that require specific position around the boss to be performed at max performance. It's not as tanky as wow where you just spam skills in the face of an NPC withouth moving.
