Muh pixelised graphics, no crosshair, no jump/land sounds, 1(2) weapon(s), pre-set waves, mouse acceleration.. Like for what? 5 euros. It's a series but Gunslinger is more of an unrelated spinoff. The first one and Bound in Blood are pretty fun too, you can get away with just playing Gunslinger though.

It's short, tons of the weapons are slow as hell which makes the combat not weighty but boring, most of the enemies are dudes in armor and by the tenth enemy with a shield you'll probably drop the game.

I liked Max's narration during gameplay, and I liked how they kept the Portuguese unsubtitled. It was originally going to be free 2 play with having to unlock new characters with in game money and buying skins with in game money/cash shop
but later they decided HEY! what if we keep the F2P model, but charge for the game? GENIUS!
I don't know why they think they can survive as a B2P game, it's peak players on steam during the free week has not even broken 700 players, their reddit gets like 5 posts a day at best, and their forums are pretty dead as well.

Yeah the character designs are pretty hit or miss.
I really like the robot dog's design, and there's a merman named Dr. Finn that's pretty cool looking, but alot of them are pretty generic or boring. But it's a top down strategy game so you don't see them as much.
