Crash 2 is by far the easiest to 100%, Crash 1 requires you to be do every level perfectly and 3 requires you to become a speed runner to get the Platnium relics.
None of the Death Routes are as bad as some of the regular levels in Crash 1, and if you die you just retry, if you died enough in Crash 1 you could be sent up to 3 levels back.
Secrets were mostly well hidden.

The falling down a seemingly fatal pit for a secret was kinda shitty, since "a few planks are left" doesn't reveal anything would happen by commiting sucicide. And the fake wall in the sewers is bizarre, but I guess since it's a dead end they expect you to try something.
