You mix up ingrediants to make drinks. It's very simplistic but it blends into the narrative nicely. For instance, you can choose to make a big version of a drink if you think the customer is a big enough guy. In other cases a character you are already familiar with will ask for a drink but if you pay enough attention you will know they actually want something else. The moments when your attention is rewarded are satisfying and can be the highlights of the game.

Your character already hints at it very blatantly by saying something along the lines of "but I feel like they don't need it/want something else" so it's not like it's unwarranted. I got every ending my first playthrough except the bad end without looking it up and I'm pretty retarded when it comes to reading clues.
I don't like weebshit at all and I enjoy playing it. It has a nice charm to it.
